I have received 13 calls, as of Feb 26, from Bank of America since 19 February from 3 different numbers, include this one. I do no business with BOA, not banking, loans, nor credit card.

I called their privacy number at 1-888-341-5000 and they told me they
would stop but that it would take up to 2-3 weeks to op-out. That tells me they are fully aware of this and are condoning this practice. When I answer there is no one on the line so they must be robo-calls. It truly is Bank of America!

Update: Another number you can call is 1-866-801-8623 but you will have to call for each number you have received calls from. I was told by a representative from BOA. at this number, it would take 12 weeks to op-out! Also it is a robo call with a prerecorded message when calling this number back. I've filled a complaint with the FCC at esupport.fcc.gov/complaimts.htm and am now filling a complaint form through my Attorney General Office.

This number called my poor elderly landlord asking for me and wouldn't leave a message. I do bank with BOA and they DO NOT have the number in which this marketing company has been harassing me at. I'm very disturbed that they affiliate themselves with blood hounding suckers that are desperating chasing after me @ the wrong # when BOA has all my contact info. I question how did they this number?

Getting calls from this number multiple times a day for at least a month, with BofA in the caller ID. This is the second time some company representing itself as BofA has tried this, with a different number, in the past couple of months. How can BofA live with itself?

Yes, I keep getting these calls too. However, I am a B of A mortgage customer.  I refuse to answer them any more.  I let them hoodwink me into a product for security protection from identity theft and free credit reports.  I canceled it. It dawned on me that my mortgage payment went down and this was another way to keep me in debt. I know how to check my own credit reports for free (CO allows one free report a year).  I can have the credit bureau to put on alerts (has to be done every 3 mos.).

My thing is this; a lot of security protection companies are popping up.  Somebody has your information, whether it be a thief or company.  You are still exposed. Many don't realize that these companies share our information with like entities.  They have gotten smart and know not to sell the info, just share it. Ugh!

Got a call from this number.  It indicated "Texas"  They asked for me by name, but mispronounced my name.  When I asked who was calling, they hung up.

I get 3-4 calls a day from this number. There is never anything said and it is really a pain in my backside. I hate looking at my answering machine when I come home from work and the pricks are always on there. If I wanted anything from this bank, I would open an account with them. Oh wait, my mortgage was taken over by BoA. It sucks but hey it's the American Goverment Bank

Whoever runs the Bank of America marketing department should be terminated immdiately. He or she has ruined the bank's reputation by engaging in repeat telephone harassment. We receive at least two calls a day from this horrible financial outfit -- and we asked to be removed from its list more than a month. We will NEVER use any Bank of America product or service simpley because the CEO has no idea what the hell his employees are doing and how they are wrecking the business. What a farce!!
