they call then hang up every time after we say who we are b/c we have to answer the phone that way. so I looked up this number and this is what I see, it a collection agency. then, I called them back and they were saying it wasn't me.  

Got a call. Didn't answer it. Likely Scam Scum..a new upstart, or a new number and name for an old scammer.

Received another call this morning. I don't answer theses calls but sent this one directly to my fax machine to pick up. gave them a fax signal. You would think that a fax tone would get me off their list, but it doesn't. That's why I think they are all robocalls or combinations thereof...where we get either a recorded message, or when people pick up, the person called is switched to a live person.  

I received a call from this number this morning. I'm also located in the Houston area. I didn't answer because I was at work, but there was no voicemail left. This must be a new one because I'm not finding too many results when I search similar sites.

I'm not sure if Comcast has anything to do with this because the call came to my cell phone, which isn't related to Comcast at all. This crap is just so freakin annoying!

This company says it is West Assets.  

Local call for me too...I'm in Houston. The caller i.d. said Huffman. I didn't pick up, though. I have learned that when these suddenly-new numbers from suddenly-new places pop up, they are not legitimate calls. I have a phone blocker and I just click an icon under the caller i.d. that pops up on my screen and the the caller will get a fast-busy signal as though my line is out of order. Then I come to this website and several others that are similar to see if there are any reports on the number. The reports on this one are just starting up, it seems.

Don't know if it's significant, but my land line is also Comcast as is the previous poster's.

received the call from this number  at 8:44pm cst.  The number is not a landline.

This number is local to me too, constantly calling my Comcast home phone line that I never use, never leaves a message.

I just got a phone call from this number and I answered it and said "Hello" A real woman's voice said "Phone call from Marsha?" (then a pause) "Koway?" I said "No" Then she said "thank you" and we both hung up. I am sure it was a way to see if I was home or something. It is a local area code.
