Same as Larry.  Claims they are B of A and my debit card had been lost or stolen.  Press 1 to be put in contact with security.  Blah blah blah.

I pressed 1 and gave the person who answered my social security #, address, DOB, and mother's maiden name.  What harm could it do, right?

Same thing just happened to me. I don't have a BofA account. It's a phising scam.

The automated message sounds like it is from 1978.

Got a call from them.  Automated message claiming to be from Bank of America and that my bank card had been locked and press 1 to unlock it.  I hung up, but expect they would have had me put in my account number if I had continued.  I don't have a B o A bank card.  Another scam no doubt

I just got a call from this number. It was a recorded message telling me that my Bank of America debit card had been frozen and then it said that I needed to press 1. I don't bank with Bank of America.

My husband just got a call from this number on his cell phone.  The message was really broken up.  However, we did get that they said they were calling from Bank of America and that our gold card had been locked--the rest was not clear other than press 1..........
We don't have a gold card with Bank of America.  I wonder if this is some way to hack into Smart Phones, perhaps something is activated when you press 1???????

The automated message continuously said "This is HSBC Security. Press 1 to deactivate card." but I don't have an account with HSBC. Will report it to them in the morning just in case someone is trying to open an account in my name or something.

A call from this number came to my cell phone. It was an automated recording. The bank they said was calling does not have that number as far as I know. They only have my land line #. The recording claimed that my debit card has been deactivated and that I was to push a key to take action. I hung up instead. Creepy stuff. I am going to report it to the bank whose name they are using. Smells like fraud to me.

Got an automated call from this number and it wasn't clear what bank it was.  I called my banks' Lost / Stolen 800 line and found out I've got an extra debit card in my name... so I guess this call helped ID possible fraud on my account.  Going to the bank first thing Monday morning.

This number suggested it is from a bank we have access to and suggested I press one for security.

It said it was Tempe Schools Credit Union. The recording said my debit card has been deactivated. Press 1 to be sent to the security dept. The funny things is, I DON'T HAVE ANY ACCOUNTS WITH THIS CREDIT UNION. SCREW THESE GUYS. I HATE PHONE CALLS LIKE THIS. PROBABLY SOME SORT OF SCAM.

I let the call go to voice mail and there was a 5 sec part of a recorded message asking me to call their security department.
I've received calls from this # before but this is the first message that was left.
