Carol Tommlin called from this #--it was a robo call with man's voice, said press any key.  I hung up.  When I tried to call back, I got the message that my call could not be completed as dialed. YUCK to whoever you are.

This number called at 1:03AM on Saturday morning in Colorado...ID says Carol Tomlinn.  Tried returning the call this morning to ask "What the hell?!?" but line is consistently busy.

have you reported this to the phone company?  they should have records of where the calls are coming from.  it's not something your boss should be trying to figure out for himself.  get the phone people, police or any other agency that might help.  otherwise, people are going to continue to call you back.  i don't check sites like this first everytime i get an annoying call from someone.

got a call july 19-2009.  didn't answer and left no message.  caller i.d. said carol tommlin.  i have been on the do not call list since it was set up, so apparently it doesn't work for residences like this

Hello.  I'm a phone agent at the company that some of you are reaching when you call this number back. (and making this post in an unofficial capacity, I might add)  The name of the company is the West Corporation, and while we do provide outsource telephone services for other companies, we are strictly inbound-only.  We don't telemarket, we don't cold-call people, and pretty much, we don't call out to homes for any reason at all.  We are NOT the people calling you.

This number is one of several that's making these calls to people.  We don't know how they're doing it, but when people call those numbers, they get *us* - even though we only have 1-800 and 1-888 lines.  We are completely and utterly baffled as to how this is happening, but the fact remains: the calls are not coming from us.

I know these calls are irritating, but just consider: all you're losing is time.  Every time one of you calls, we're losing money having to explain the situation - and in some shifts, I take more calls from you guys than I do legitimate business.  Basically, we have more reason than you to want these jerks to knock it off, and we're working on tracking them down and making it happen.

But in the meantime, if you do get one of these calls (which are also coming from 512-646-1435 and 817-259-1424) and feel the need to call back, if you get us, be nice to the agent on the other end.  That person is almost certainly as frustrated with the situation as you are, and is absolutely not the target of your ire.

And hopefully any day now my bosses will figure out who's actually doing this and start sending the legal nastygrams.

Caller ID said Carol Tommlin.  Thought it was a missed business call so returned a call to the number.  The man who answered identified the number as some sort of service (he had an accented voice so couldn't quite hear the full business name).  When i said that i had received a call from the number, he repeated several times that they do not make phone calls.  I repeated that i had just received a call from that number.  He apologized and hung up.

The Tommlin number just called me too!! ON the other hand, the people that last had my phone number have horrendous credit and I get thousands of calls for them every day now for several weeks. There is no hope.  I'm just going to have my phone turned off.

Last I knew, political organizations are exempt from the "Do Not Call" registry - after all, your congressman has to have a way to squeeze more money out of you somehow!

Does this make the KKK and other hate groups political parties and exempt from this law?

Isn't misrepresenting caller-id a federal offense?  Either these nut-jobs are falsifying the caller-id, or Ms. Tommlin is lying.

I called back, a woman answered, I told her that I had received a call but did not receive the full message, and she told me that no one calls from there, they only receive calls. I asked if the number was 1-281-791-0043, she told me it was NOT, but I checked my redial --- that is what I dialed.  EVERYONE CALL NOW!!!  Bug them!

Called shortly after 12pm...didn't answer, but have filed an online complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.
The more people that file a complaint against this kind of nuisance, the better!
