I received the following message:  R u a single female that is over 18 that wants a good man. But u have 2 b willin 2 move.  I immediately called the number and it was not answered but the message indicated that it was a Verizon subscriber.  I IMMEDIATELY called Verizon and filed a complaint.  I consider this message a form of harassment which will not be tolerated.  When I typed in the phone # in a search engine over 20 complaints from this number appeared.  I have locked and saved the message on my phone and in the event I receive another message I will be calling the Houston police to file charges.  Verizon assured me that they are taking these messages seriously and will contact their customer.

just recieved a text asking "R u a single female that is over 18 that wants a good man". i replied ask who it was and call no answer or responce so watch out

My 15 year old daughter received the same message today...

I got this too...When I replied "Who is this" they replied..."Its Shane..Whats ur name...War Eagle"

Got a text message from this number saying "Im lookin 4 a single woman that is over 18 if this anit u then dont answer" --oh my. Someone's reached beyond the point of depseration....

I don't know about you guys but this is super sketchy. I got the same message - are you single and over 18 looking for a good man must be willing to move, and when I asked who it was they said Shane and asked for my name. Didn't give info out and whoever it is didn't reply. This is not cool! Super effin' creep.

I received a text from someone asking if I was over 18 and looking for a good man...etc, felt really weird. I did a search and found this blog. Thanks for the postings, I will take appropriate action as well.

They also told me not to respond to the text message.

I got the same message.  I called Verizon and they said it was a premium text message and you get charged for it.  They blocked the number from being able to send more texts to my phone.  They also told me to call back when it shows up on the bill to get a credit.

yep i got the whole "R U a single female..."
I texted back, he said his name was "shane" and that he got my number by randomly texting random numbers... i told him to google his own number and rethink his approach.

I got a text from this # saying "R u a single female that is over 18 that wants a good man. But u have 2 b willin 2 move" and I responded "I am male and where did you get my #"

This is very disturbing and should be stopped!

My Wife recieved a call from this number and felt very funny about it. She didn't recognize the number so I just did a surch on it. It said "R U single and over 18. You must be willing to move." Sounds like something must be done about this kind of stuff!!!!!!!!

Just got text...R U a single female over 18 that wants a good man....Well I replied by tell him " I have just posted U R # to facebook....I am sure you will get lots of calls from all around the world."  Gonna try to burn his mins. up.....also gonna turn his # over to Channel 13 Blog.....

Yeah I got at 8:49am this morning, "R u a single female that is over 18 that wants a good man." I replied who is this and the guy said his name was Shane and asked me my name. I am not giving my name out to a stranger ewww!

Got a text message with, "R u a single female that is over 18 that wants a good man"

I received a text at 8:20am saying "R u a single female that is over 18 that wants a good man"

Also got a text at 11:04p tonight "R u a single female that is over 18"

My daughter got same "Wat up" text and accidently sent a blank reply.  The second text from them was "are you over 18 and are you single?"

received a texted message of "Wat up" and don't have a clue who this may be....
