Just a tip: anyone calling from "U.S. Government" would speak English and not have such background noise of others with broken English.

This number keeps calling and calling. Because I am from San Antonio I answered thinking it could have been an emergency with someone in my family that maybe went to the Houston area. NOPE when I answered they began to speak with an accent and I immediately hung up. Got a call back askin why would I hang up? We are trying to help you out with a Grant, I said Go EFF yourself and hung up again!!! Does anyone know if there is an app or something that will only allow numbers in your phone book to come through or something....if not maybe I should invent something like that lol :)
Have a great day!!!

2068665679 to get my money, scammers!

The caller claimed to be giving our a Government grant that I was selected to receive in the amount of $7,000.00 because I paid my bills on time and paid my taxes. LOL. They had my name and address and started out wanting to obtain more personal information (age to start with) Because I wouldn't confirm details about who I was, they said they couldn't help me. IF IT WAS THE GOVERNEMT ISSUING A GRANT FOR PAYING MY BILLS ON TIME (what a joke in itself) or based upon the fact that I am a GREAT taxpayer, then they should have all of that information in their GOVERNMENT files.
THE LENGTHS PEOPLE WILL GO TO FOR A SCAM.

They called and asked for me. My husband said I wasn't there, they hung up. My husband called them back and got a message that said "This phone number is no longer in service." The reverse phone number search shows it is a landline in Houston, TX.
