Hung up when I said that the person they asked to talk with was with clients.  Tried to ask them to take us off the call list only to have the women hang up on me.  I called back and they hung up again when I explained what had happened.

My 89 yr old mother-in-law received a call from the # 281-872-0755 on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 8:58pm. (The caller ID recorded the name as TSSLLC.)  The caller said she was from GUIDEPOST Magazines and that they were no longer sending out renewal notices. She was told that her subscription was up for renewal.  The subscription had increased, but she could receive a Senior discount on a 2 year subscription.  They offered to renew another Guideposts publication--Angels on earth.  They could do this on the phone--she just needed to give them a credit card!
Her Guideposts subscription had been paid till Dec.'12, so she called Guideposts on Monday morning.  They told her that the subscription price had not increased, that they do not solict renewals on the phone and that she should call her credit card company!  She did.

I have been receiving these calls for the longest time. They ask me if I am still receiving Star Magazine (which I have not gotten in over 8 years). I have asked them numerous times to take me off the list. They recently called me and AGAIN they were told to remove me from the list, which apparently annoyed the caller. This turned into another 5-6 phone calls over the next hour or so. One time my husband answered the phone and they had him on speaker phone and they were all laughing in the background. I would love to report them but not sure who the company is!

Unfortunately for Star I enjoy their magazine but would no longer read it even if it was given to me FREE!

These people call my house every night between 6 and 8 pm and ask for my husband. When I ask who they are, they hang up. Last night I called it back, typical telemarketer phone, busy for a while, yet when I got through and asked who the company was, they hung up. I would LOVE to report them but not sure where. The phone says T SS LLC on the caller ID. I made sure they didnt get alot of work done last night by putting my phone on redial and just letting it ring, when they answered they just hung up on me. Once I decided to call one number off and a man answered. I asked him if it was TSS and he said yes, then when I proceeded to ask to speak to a manager he asked why. I explained someone kept hanging up, he then said he was a 'Customer' so I asked if anyone was around and he said yes but they were all busy. I am sure whatever this is about, it is a scam!

There is something really really wrong with this woman who calls from this number. She said my Newsweek subscription was being charged $78.00 (not true, I had just paid $20. to Newsweek) and that I was being overcharged. I asked her to remove me from her list she tersly replied: "NO I'm not going to do that." I hung up and she called right back asking me why I hung up. I called her a bit-h and she started to physo call me all day.
I am and have been on the do not call list for years. I can not figure out how this little monkey got my number. I will figure out how to report her though. Get a real job, wacko.

When receiving calls such as these, report it to www.donotcall.gov.
If you have call block, block the calls. If your state has a do not call service
report it to them also.
And put your phone numbers on the federal and state do not call lists.

I received this "new" nuisance call for the first time today.  Fortunately I had purchased  new cordless phones from Panasonic a couple months ago and I can block up to 30 caller numbers. I must have close to 20 by now.!   I assume magazine subscriptions we get sell their info to this pests.

They've called my mother multiple times about a Soap Opera Digest renewal.  First time was to get her to renew, except she had just renewed.  When she said she'd just renewed and didn't need to, they pushed to her to extend her subscription longer.  When she still said no he threw out a comment something like "don't you think you're going to live long enough to use it?"  At one other point he basically said she was too old to understand what he was saying and she should just go get her credit card and let him take care of it.

I happened to be there for their third call.  This time they tried claiming her recent renewal was charged at the wrong rate.  She was going to get charged $79 instead of $39 or such and to ensure she wasn't overcharged they were going to cancel her current charge and run it through again at the correct rate.  To do so they needed her credit card number.  Problem being she'd paid by check.  He then pushed about it being a newer renewal than the one by check.  He claimed she had sent in a renewal card marked bill me later.  They had her signature on that card and therefore we were locked into the agreement, blah blah blah.  I told them to send it out in writing.  He responded saying there was no time, they have to get the charge corrected quickly or she's going to be overcharged.

COMPLETE SCAM ARTISTS.

I've had this number call twice now on the same day. The first time they called it was just before six and they asked for my mother. I said she wasn't home and the man said "oh" and hung up. They called again about quarter of seven. They wanted a renewal for Soap Opera Digest. Not only does NO ONE in my house read this magazine, no one even watches soap operas. I'm sure it's a scam and I'm filing a report on the donotcall.gov site. I'm registered there an it annoys me when I'm working (I'm a writer) and they disturb me. I recommend filing your phone numbers with the donotcall website and if you continue to get these calls then file a complaint.

They called previously and I had the same experience as above with Soap Opera Digest.  I renewed over the internet.  Thinking they were calling about payment, I gave them my card number.  Seems I'm being charged for 3 years, over 79 dollars a month for 3 months, instead of the 14.97 I am supposed to be paying through SOD.  Now I have to contact the bank to avoid being charged.  Rediculous.

Despite the fact that we did not EVER order nor do we EVER read the Soap Opera Digest, we continue to get calls regarding the subscription.  They hang up when questioned.  I don't get it.  Why do they continue to send a magazine that we didn't order, don't want, and have never paid for...

Mr. Eveland is a client in our law office.  He has been harassed by these people over and over.  His wife's soap opera digest subscription is currently good through 2014 after we got the extension through 2017 removed.  Every time these people call, his blood pressure goes up and he has actually had to go to the hospital for treatment.  They need to be stopped and as quickly as possible.  I'm reporting them to the do not call .gov site as well as the attorney general of the State of Illinois.  People like this should be imprisoned.

This number called me (actually there were 3 different numbers, but the same person--Lisa, I believe).  The Caller ID just said TEXAS.  They said they called regarding my Soap Opera Digest subscription, which is NOT located in TEXAS.  They wanted me to renew it, saying it's going up A LOT, and it expires in about 4 months. This ended up NOT being true at all.  I finally tried calling back, and it just rings off the hook.  The third number gives me a high pitched beep (like when dealing with a fax machine).  When she had called back, and I said no, and I had a LONG time before it expired, she was rude and then just hung up abruptly.  I figured it was a scam...
