Does any one know if this is a legitimate debt colection agency by the name AGA Associates

Same message came from 214-716-0519, said to call 281-886-7592 that certified mail came with my name and social - and that he was not sure if I was "aware of the matter or not"...SCAM!!

Almost identical....a woman called from a different #6826220946 and left the same number 2818867592 with  with a message saying certified mail in my name was returned and that I need to call them back because they are getting ready to file suit against me at the end of the week.

I just received a call from a 443 area code, from a meek sounding woman who left a VM saying that she was filing a preliminary judgement against me, but asked me to return her call at this #. I do owe some debt, but still checking with a lawyer to see what my options are about the call.

A guy called from a 630 area code but left a 281 area code# .Message referred to my ex husband to  contact him to "verify his ssn on a document. WTF!  Sounded fishy especially since he's been incarcerated for more than ten years.  At first I thought idenity theft so soon after I looked up the callback #  & began reading complaints. I almost want to call him up & tell him to shove it.  I don't know what scam they're pulling, but dont call me. My ex issues have nothing to do with me.  Send him a letter. I'm really irritated right now!

That is exactly what happened to us and Im trying to find out what can be done because these people seems to be husband and wife are trying to scam people out of money and a lot of people will fall for it because the way they do this someone could actually think its ligitiment  I just hope people think before they give these people bank account numbers and credit card numbers

I have gotten several calls from this number asking for my husband and they claim they have a file with his name on it along with SS# I did speak to them a few times and we almost paid them what they stated was owed until I called the attorney generals office because the information they gave us seemed fishy and didn't seem to match from call to call. This began over a month ago and I thought it stopped until today I received another call from a different number from the same state when i answered and the guy asked for my husband i asked who it was once he said his name Jason I hung up. Isn't there anything that can be done about these people harassing us and trying to scam us.

A lady called from a 313 number and left a message similar to the messages above. And left this number.

Received a message from a guy calling from 617-849-9766....saying that he needed to speak to me about a file with my name and social security number on it...He gave me this numer to call him back.

In another instance, I received a call from a woman on my cell from the same 617 area code number...stating similar information, but yet...gave me this number as well to call her back.

A lguy Called from a different 9725354873 but then left this # for a return call saying he sent me certified mail that was returned. He is needing to verify my address and should call his direct #. Yeah right..
