These guys contact me while I was at work they fax over a form and information to my supervisor to have me contact them I was so scared, but I was so glad when I found out that this was one of the wrongs from my past that I could make right. Officers already have tough enough without some of us as law abiding citizens getting into trouble, I thank them and I feel better.

Today I let a call go to voicemail because I did not recognize the number.  The person calling left me a message saying his name was Eric and that there were serious allegations against me in my home state.  He just stated that I needed to call him back.  He also used my previous last name, I am remarried now for almost two years.  I just don't understand how he got my number which is under my husband's name and used my previous married name.  It's kind of scary and now I feel as if this is a scam.  I called the FTC to file a complaint and they referred me to consumerfinance.gov and filed my complaint that way.  I hope this helps anyone who has received the name call.

Thank you so much for the information.  I got a call (I let it go to voicemail) from this number from a guy named Eric saying there were some allegations against me in the state of South Carolina.  He did not tell me where he was calling from nor a call back number. I have not done anything to have any "allegations" against me so I don't understand how they even got my information and I am recently remarried and he used my previous last name.  I will definitely report this to the FCC.  Thanks again

These people are calling saying that you have WARRANTS pending for check fraud?  Also, asking for your social security number over the phone.  And calling themselves SARGEANT this or that.  But, when asked refuse to identify themselves specifically.  Just keep yelling and repeating, "We're not the bad guys here!  We're not the bad guys here!"  Then, they try to get you to go to the nearest Western Union or Moneygram and send money.  But refuse to give you their information (company code or name of company) until you are literally at the service desk???
