They have been contacting my work wanting information from me. Will not give me any of their information and will not leave a meassage or give an email or even tell me what it is for. They just say that i owe them money and want me to fax my info over to them. However, they did not give me a fax number. I do not owe anyone anything!!! how do i get these people to stop calling me???????

I have been getting calls from the phone number '0000' (I have an Iphone).  They called 7 times yesterday between 8:58am - 9:06am.  I'm at work!!!  Later on that afternoon when I finally did answer the call the Indian man (I couldn't understand his name) kept saying that I took out a payday loan in February and the company, CashNet, is going to file charges to get the remaining money.  I would NEVER take out a payday loan.  EVER!!  He told me legal action was going to be taken against me.  PLEASE!!! I asked him to give me the number to CashNet and I'll call them myself.  Then I hung up on him.  What a scam!!!

Great now they are calling my work. I have already informed my employers about these types of calls. It was exactly the same. I have to admit that "Sam Watson" is not rude as many of these people are. I have to give him credit for that.

I really wish I knew how these scammers got my information. It is plain and simple identity theft followed by intimidation and false information. I have been harrassed all summer by these people calling from different numbers. Always the same thing. Someone with a very strong sub-Indian continent accent, accusing me of some illegal action and that they are about to press charges against me for fraud. They are the ones committing fraud. I know this because of several reasons, but mainly the bank account that these people claim that I have this payday loan on didn't even exist at the time that they say that the loan was taken. The number that showed up on my cell phone was 268-0010 with no area code. The number that I am posting this under is the one that they left on my voicemail. They called my cell 4 times in a 4 minute period. That is pure and simple harrassment. So, once again, I will go to the appropriate law enforcement websites and turn in yet again another scammer. This is really ridiculous.

I received call from same person.  This is a big scam.  Even called my friends.  I don't owe anyone a dime.  I kept the recording so I can turn it in.  What a bunch of crap.

Just received a call from "John Smith"  with Law and Investigation, a government company (haha) that I owed some money... HAHAHA  I only take out loans at our local bank...I know a scam when I hear it!!!

I got a call from this number today and they are very rude wanted me to send them a letter stating i will not skip a payment and pay the full amount that i owe,  And to send it to the attention of John Smith.  
They gave me a case number and said they were calling from the dept of law and investigation.  Asked me for the name of my attorney and when I said I didn't have an attorney he said you need an attorney because you are a criminal.  That is when I got more than upset.  How dare him call me a criminal.  I never borrowed this money. I had a few years back but that was a while ago not in the time frame he told me.  How do they get this information?  How can I get this to stop

I got 7 phone calls in a row this morning from this number stating that I needed to contact them immediately. I called them back and I couldn't understand what they said. They have now called my mom and friend and have scared them. This happened a few months ago as well and I contacted my local law enforcement and they told me to ignore them.

I have been receiving these calls at work too.  They did give me a fax number of 206-330-1915, so I can fax them a letter stating that I had no intention to skip a payment and I fully intend to pay back the $643.93 that I owe Cash Net.  They also supplied me with a case number WAMSo94521, so I am faxing them what I obtained on the web that this is a scam and hopefully they will leave me alone.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CALLING ME AT WORK CAN'T TALK A BIT OF ENGLISH CAN'T UNDERSTAND THEM AT ALL THEY USE A DIFFERENT NAME EVERY TIME THEY CALL..HAHA..SAME PERSON WITH JINK ACCENT U WANT TO LIVE IN AMERICA LEARN TO TALK..I WILL NOT RESPOND TO THAT SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM TO ME..WANT THEM TO STOP

I got a call from 281-891-3928 this morning at 11:01.....it showed up as a private caller on my cell phone....."ryan wilson" who could not speak english well told me there was an afadavit being filed by his company for a loan i took out from cashnet and did not pay back......of course here is nothing on record from cashnet that i took any loan....i called cashnet and reported this to them in their fraud department and they report to the federal fair trade commission and better business bureau.....this ryan wilson wnated me to send 623.00 and fax him a short letter and a copy of my photo id.......it is a scam.....they just change their number and names and call around trying to get people to send them money and personal information.....don't send them anything!!!!!!!

now they r harassing my friends calling them up what can we  do about this they keep on calling me telling me to call them but i will not respond to them but my friends are being harrassed what can we do

I received a call today at work from someone with a thick(barely understandable) accent from 281-891-3928. He said he was with State Dept. Credit Union and I had taken a payday loan from Cashnet. This has happened to me before and I went through my bank account and have NEVER had any money deposited ever from any company of this sort. They are ruthless and rude. They're threatening legal actions. I just want them to stop bothering me!

got a call from 2818913928 did not call back but when i look it up it said southwestern bell tx houston i am so tired of this they are always call me about a payday loan and i got scammed already and i would like for it to stop if anyone get  a call from this number write me back and let me know this need to be stopped

I received a call from these people as well and as before this debt was already discharged in a BK chpt 7... yet they call...  It's a spoofed number and they will not provide address information (just pester you for CC info).  They of course threaten you with all sorts of legal action and proceed to break every law governing collecting a debt.  They are definete scamsters.

I too keep receiving these calss.  I asked him for his physical address and after arguing several times, he gave me a fake address that ended up being a residence.  He kept pressing me to give him my credit card information.  This is a scam and they do not have the right to contact/harass you.
