They called at 8:15 Saturday morning. No message left. Others have reported that this is a debt collection agency for Verizon Wireless. I have NO debt, and I have never had an account with Verizon. I am fed up with these incessant calls for other people from debt collectors.

Received a call from a female who did not identify herself or company. Looking for a possible relatives phone number and employer. The phone call made me uneasy and I did not give them any information.

This phone number continues to call without invitation.  This is a new number for me and has been registered on the do not call list.  You have been reported, stop calling me.

got the call  at 8:52AM.  was not at home phone with caller-id; thought call could be about an uncle that had died the night before.   girl on line was asking if this was the number for my daughter-in-law. I'm  sure that they had gone to whitepages and found the associated with names to use.     caller did say that she didn't have the right cell number.   told her that I would contact DNL for them.  caller said that she couldn't legally give me a phone number but she was calling from  United Recovery Systems in Houston TX;  I could look it up and see that they were a ligitament company.   I told her that her call sounded like a spam to me.  Of course, she dinied it.  If URS is a ligit co,  they need to be putting a stop to these calls.

There is some kind of continuous champaign from bottom feeders to try to trick me into picking up the phone to hear their scam by using varying fake Caller IDs and various phone numbers. My phone can be quiet from spam calls for weeks and then, all of a sudden, I get hit with up to 4 calls per day. Also, they use different company names, but I think that are the same or working together.

My life is a spam phone call hell, and I can't get out.  The last several days have gone like this:

03/28/13 Thursday 6:53pm, called from 281-901-6996 using caller ID "Private caller". Location: Texas (Baytown, Houston, Missouri City). 800notes identified as a "URS". Easy to deduct that "URS" is "United Recovery Systems"

03/27/13 Wednesday 6:53pm, 3rd spam call today, called from 832-379-5404 using caller ID "Private caller". Location: Texas (Baytown, Houston, Missouri City). 800notes identified as a debt collector. From clues we know this is "United Recovery Systems".

03/27/13 Wednesday 5:44pm, 2nd call today, called from 412-235-6111 using caller ID "PORTFOLIORECOVE". Location: Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh). 800notes identified as Portfolio Recovery Associates.

03/27/13 Wednesday 1:27pm, called from 800-772-1413 using caller ID "TOLL FREE CALLE". 800notes identified as Portfolio Recovery Associates.

03/26/13 Tuesday 3:35pm they called from phone number 281-901-6998, using Caller ID: "Private Caller" .  800notes identified them as United Recovery Systems - Debt Collector and/or NOVOLINKCOMM

03/25/13 Monday 12:54pm, called from 713-955-9266 using caller ID "UNASSIGNED".  800notes identified them as "United Recovery Systems".

03/23/13 Saturday 5:11pm, called from 800-772-1413 using caller ID "TOLL FREE CALLE". 800notes identified as Portfolio Recovery.

03/21/13 1:55 pm, they called from 909-912-7400 using Caller ID "Out of area".  800notes identified them as "ARS National", which is "Associated Recovery Systems" (Collections).

03/21/13 9:55 am, they called from 713-955-9267 using Caller ID "UNASSIGNED".  800notes identified them as "United Recovery Systems".

03/20/13 they called from 281-901-6994 using Caller ID "Private Caller".  800notes identified them as "United Recovery Systems" from Houston Texas.

03/19/13 they called from phone number 713-955-9269 using Caller ID "UNASSIGNED". 800notes identified as UNITED RECOVERY

Later 03/19/13 (2nd call) they called from phone number 713-955-9263, using Caller ID "UNASSIGNED". 800notes identified as United Recovery

Later again (3rd Call) 03/19/13 they called from phone number 800-772-1413, using Caller ID "TOLL FREE CALLE". 800notes identified as Portfolio Recovery

Later again (4th call) 03/19/13 they called from phone number 281-901-6998, using Caller ID: "Private Caller" .  800notes identified them as United Recovery Systems - Debt Collector and/or NOVOLINKCOMM

This is the way they work. Using different phone numbers, using fake Caller IDs.

I don't have outstanding debts!  This is just harassment.  There should be a law against this.

This insane and continuous calling to me, who has no debts, is NOT profitable to these companies, and serves no purpose.  So why do they never stop calling? Why do they call for days, months, years, without stopping? They should call people that don't pay their bills, credit card and loan payments.

Dear United Recovery Systems, NOVOLINKCOMM, Portfolio Recovery, and Associated Recovery Systems, PLEASE GO AWAY.  We know you are all the same company, using fake Caller IDs and many phone numbers.  I guess you do serve one purpose, companies like you make the American people hate you and hate what you do. You are a pest, and need to stop bothering people.

Received call from female around 5:10p EST.  Female would not identify herself and did not give name of company.  Harrassed receiver to give best time to contact another party of the home.

This number calls comes up private and never leaves a message

I've been called by this number repetitively, I've asked them to put me on their ?no call? list but they continue to call. They normally state that they're a collection agency and demand a social security number before giving any reliable information about who they are. I'm relieved to read these other comments and know I'm not the only one being harassed by these jerks.

This number called but no one spoke or left message.  Apparently another poster determined it is URS collecting for Verizon.  Keeping a log of these calls for future action.  Just calling is telephone harassment. They will use several numbers and most originate from Texas.  Thanks so much to other posters and this wonderful service.

Caller ID says "DAILER". Calls every day looking for a particular person who does not live here. Gives option to speak with operator if I am (press 1) or am not this person (press2), but when option is taken it repeats the option, and then says "goodbye".

Called cell phone, did not leave message.
