I get calls from here too claiming Houston Law Firm. Peter Black. If not him it's Alex. Same voice too same phone number. I got a lady too, must be his wife pretending to be debt collector.
I asked them to send the documentation to the address on file they said no. They already have. They send me email. I said if you were a real law firm you would love to send it in writing. Law firms love paper trail.
The said if you do not pay me now then you will see what happens to you. I said is that a threat? He said, "Yes it is a threat. I have the power to kill too." I said, then you would now as a law firm you claim to be representing would not threaten clients bodily harm. He kept going on and on threatening me over and over.
He hung up on me. I called him back, he said, "You work at ___. You're address is___. You're families address is___." Naming off everything about me. I never said if he was correct. I said he does not have the right information. He asked for it. I said if you were a law firm then you would already have it already and you called me back in February same b.s. and we would have already been in court by now you a$$. He said, "You have a make believe attorney call me and I go and beat him up too." I told him don't you threaten me or anyone you s.o.b. If you were a legit debt collector your business practices are illegal by the FTC and United States regulations for conusmer's rights. You're the one who is make believe. He said, I have until the end of the day to pay him money or he will make my life a living hell. I hung up. So, I got smart and decided to call back. Funny suddenly now when I call him back from my phone, his number is disconnected. I went to my other phone I have and called blocking my phone number on his caller I.D. He answered. I told him that I was an agent of the FBI. He asked for my name, I gave him a fake name. He said what is your number? I gave him the actual FBI number lol. He fell for it. I said, look we have tracked you down via our cyber crime unit and your whole operation is being shut down because you are threatening people scamming them for money in effort to support funding for your terrorist group. He got silent and hung up on me.
Later that day he kept calling my other phone he has. I finally got fed up with the threats etc. I called my local police and an officer came out. The officer actually called the a$$hole from his cell phone! He was on the phone with him for like 25 minutes. Said that the number they call from is not real. They are re-routing those phone numbers from some other place not Texas. The guy argued with the police officer about their law firm's phone number being valid. He has no way of proving validation. He denied threatening me. He denied why he was calling in the first place to my police officer. So, if anyone gets any calls from this f***$rs ignore it!! Do not respond to them and do not confirm your name etc they ask for!!!!!!! He said it's fishy and obviously a fake and even if they were a legit collector their business practices goes beyond illegal. He is actually working on tracing this phone number and said anyone who receives these calls ignore ignore ignore and do not stress about it. Make a police report as well. I tried to call an attorney first, but they informed me contact your local law enforcement when you are being threatened.

I am sick and tired of getting calls AT MY WORK from the number (and other numbers) asking for the same person (who is NOT me), leaving threatening messages about this other person having a lawsuit against him and that they must be called back. I DID call back, told them there's no one by that name at this number and place of business and that they MUST take the number off their list. Of course they called back from a different area code even and asked for the same person. This needs to stop.

This "law" firm calls several times a day for over two weeks. Stating I have a suit being filed against me and the police will be coming to pick me up today. They are stating that if I go ahead and pay them today they can stop me from being arrested on three serious charges...What a bunch of idiots. First of all, I do not have a load, second of all that isnt how the legal system works! Such a scam- They transfer you to supervisors who speak even worse english than the first person...If you see this number DO NOT answer it, just a scam!!!

Got calls from Peter Black, Micheal Johnson and a David something. ALL HAD INDIAN ACCENTS. Asked them to send the info to my house and said he already did and my e-mail. Lie! Freaking A-Holea are going to get me fired calling my work too.

They told me the name of the law firm was US law firm...I said wow, that's original, who's the head attorney.  He sasid Robert Woods.  I googled both, nothing.  However, there is a Robert Woods, Esquire in Houston, TX as a personal injury attorney.  I told this idiot I was calling from a legitimate law firm, gave him hell and threatened him up and down.  Told him you were my client, gave him your name and state.  He asked for your # and I said you obviously have it, I'm not giving that information to you.  Also told the Indian guy he didn't sound so much like a Alex Robinson as he did a Singh or a Gupta hahahah.  That didn't sit well with him.  But I don't care, you scare and threaten and anger so many people, time to turn the tables.  I got alot of fun out of it lol, bullying a bully.  Your calls better stop now.  Your GF rocks!!!!  hahahaha.

You should still file complaints with the FTC and US Attorney's Office.  I love you!!!! :-)

this jerk has threatened to kill me and my family I want him stopped

I keep getting threatening calls at work and on my cell. Was told that I'm going to be taken to court along with my references and my employer. Have to admit was a little concerned at first, but after reading everybody's post I feel much better.

Started getting calls from this phone # 281-954-0424 this week leaving threatening VMs. Said there's a lawsuit against me. Could barely understand, too much static like it's overseas, guy has an East Indian accent. Also asked for my attorney. Says if I ignore his calls then it's good luck to me.
Planning to just ignore the calls for now. Filed online complaint with the FTC today regarding this # & this other clown calling from this # 916-287-3958. Strength in numbers. These scums with their scams should be exposed.

A Peter Black from 281-954-0424 just left a message at my husband's work.  He works at a government facility and called me to call them back and see what they wanted.  He said it was a law firm in Houston and the Peter Black was a paralegal there. He has a heavy accent and you could clearly hear other people having like conversations in the background.  There is a federal police station where my husband works, we are going to turn this over to them.

He keeps calling my google voice phone number and leaving threatening VMs.  I called back and when I told him it was none of his f*ing business who my attorney was and that I was a federal employee and that he just called a tapped line he immediately hung up.  LOL

This same guy keeps calling me leaving me threatening messages about a payday loan. That they are taking me to court and will be harassing me at my job. I kept asking him what he was talking about, and he couldn't tell me anything just gave me a price of 260.00 to pay by the end of the day to stop the phone calls and the case against me would stop.

Had the number call me too wanting my attorney information about a case against me and then said something about a court date and local sheriffs office and said something could hardly understand him about references can into trouble Who do I report this to?

I had an "Alexander Wilson" call me today from telephone # 281-954-0424 saying he was from the "Houston Law Firm" and i have a pending lawsuit against me for fraud by a Payday Loan  Office that deposited funds in my Account back in January 2012. He told me that i could settle out of court by paying their client by depositing the amount of $360.00 into a Moneypak and calling them back with the pin number. Only then would they be able to send me the legal documents by mail and I would not be sued by any other company in the world. <~~~Lmao! I told him was that including Medical Bills I owe. Retarted a** people. BTW they gave me this address for their Law Firm 16047 Clarke Springs Dr., Houston, TX 77053 and the Website is www.houstonlawfirm.org... Does not exist! Good Luck to you sorry a** motherfckrs that keep calling me cause you won't get a penny from me!!!!

I have been getting calls from these people all day and harassing me even at work. They have been leaving very rude messages on my phone as well.

Yeah they called me too. The man claimed his name was Alex and that I had a legal suit against me. I informed him that I had no such case against me, and to never leave threatening VMs against me and my family on my phone again. He then became very sinister and told me he would make my life a living hell and that I did not know who I was messing with, and that he has power to kill.

I received a call from them today stating they were from "the attorney's office in Houston". they kept asking for my attorney's name and number so they could discuss the case against me with them but would never tell me about it. I could hear several other deeply accented people talking in the background and I told him he was full of s*** and hung up.

This number called my cell repeatedly every hour and left threatening voicemails. Said that the sheriffs office was going to my home and work because an affidavit was filed under my name and social identity. Man with a thick Indian accent, says he's calling from a law firm.
