Call the Credit card issuer.. tell them that you were scammed into giving the info..and they can stop any charges to that card.. and do it fast.

I press "1" to talk to them and start to lecture them about how they and people like them are bringing down our country, and they would have a more honorable job prosituting themselves, instead of trying to take advantage of the gullible. Maybe if we all told them that, they may choose to stop stealing from the innocent. They usually yell at me and hang up, lol. When I get all the "copier rep", etc. calls at work, I put them on hold until they hang up. There is no reasoning with these people, asking them to stop calling and "do not call" list is futile. Let's all give them a scolding.

I tried calling one of the numbers posted on this site, just get a recording, but no option to speak to someone, just press 1 for the do not call - which I didn't do, they don't need any more information on me.

They left a message telling me to press 9 to stop calling. How can I do this when they are leaving a message? IDIOTS!!!!! Sounds like a bunch of Einsteins calling from that #!!!

I just received call from this number and the lady starts off by asking about my credit card information, which i gave here. She then started talking about the various services her company offers and I said "NO!" She said, well you already gave me your credit card info so I am going to charge you anyway! What should I do? I already called 911 and they didnt do anything!

I work 3rd shift. This number will not stop calling me. It's about everyday.

on the do not call registry! so tired of all these calls.....more than just one number! multiple numbers and they keep calling! say they are from a credit company.....hang immediately!!!!

Same as you have all said, and when I told them my Visa was a Petco Visa they said "isn't this ____". They had my name too! And probably address since it's so easy to access everything online. I have reported them to everybody. The caller said "this is Visa and Mastercard"

I just reported this phone number to the do not call registry, http://complaints.donotcall.gov .

Received two back-to-back automated calls from this number, listed to Dean Juanita at 281-968-0362, concerning lower interest rates, unwanted call, very annoying, my phone number is listed on the do-not-call list, but these calls have not stopped.

Obviously the "Do Not Call" list does not work.
I've tried it 3-4 times.

I get calls like these all the time from different numbers. Whenever a new number starts calling, they go into my address book under zzzscam and I change the settings to send the calls straight to voicemail. Some people can block the calls completely so see if you have that option. Otherwise sending them straight to vm works because most don't leave messages.

Also, as someone else said, these people do not care about the DNC list so stop complaining about it. That's like complaining that a robber held up a convience store when the police are out there. (Except the police might actually catch the robber. The DNC people aren't going to stop these guys.) They are criminals and have no regard for what is right or lawful. If they did, they wouldn't be calling in the first place.

Why are you blaming the government?  It's the company that is breaking the law.  Do you blame cops when someone murders someone else?  If you cut your finger, do you blame the knife?

pressed one when the automated message said there is no issue with my accounts but i could get a lower interest rate, when the rep answered I asked what account is this for and she said any visa mastercard or discover. when I asked the name of the company she said card services. when I asked ok but what account and she couldnt answer.when I asked for a website to lookover she hung up on me

Isn't there something the phone companies can do to help with this issue?  If enough of us called our providers and seriously considered leaving the phone companies, I bet they would figure it out for us.  It is ultra annoying!!!  Can't some program scan scam numbers and then our phone provider block them?  It seems after 5-10 complaints on a site like this should be sufficient for 'the powers that be' to take action.

Received an automated robo-call from a company claiming that they wanted to reduce my interest rate. Pressed 1 to speak with the operator and they identified themselves as "Card Services". I have received multiple calls from this organization and have attempted call trace without success.

This is a fraudulent organization that is attempting to collect personal data for purposes of credit card scams.

These guys need to be shut down!

Report these guys to http://complaints.donotcall.gov/ once enough calls are reported the FTC will investigate them. Its a hassel, but we need to have as many people report them as possible in order to get our government to prioritize an investigation. Report them today

I know very well from previous experience that I'm really not given the option to press 9.

This is an annoying unwanted call from whomever.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST and it has not stopped the calls on my cell phone from this number.

I received a recorded message from this number

This call and 999 9992112 and 406 351 4089 also called with the same stuff.  I am filing a complaint to FTC, FCC, and the State AG office.

A call on my cell phone at 7:45 a.m. Arizona time.  A recorded message was left telling me there was nothing wrong with my credit...that's as far as I got before deleting the message.

281-968-0362 - spam robo call from credit card rate scam. STOP CALLING ME!!!!

I didn't answer & it actually left a recorded message on my voicemail about lowering my rates.

As you can see by all the other posts it is a scam. Perhaps since they continue to remain in business with this same number you could file a report with the FBI and the BBB.  Easy.  Cut and paste the same report into both agencies.  They both have to check on it. But from what I understand there is too much of this kind of thing to do much about them.
