A fool in my book..
I do not like harassing calls.
Carolann Adair 2011-06-06 20:44:37 Unknown
number is left for me to called bank of america; Bank of America doesn't called their customers, also letting Bank of America know that someone is calling saying their are from bank of america.

This number just called and demanded to speak with my husband. I agree-I've been a BOA customer for 15 years now and they have never called me, or him for that matter.

This guy was talking in Spanish and asked me if i wanted a to get ID theft protection. i declined and he told me if i wanted i could call a 1-888 number but when i asked for the number again he hanged up.

called my landline and hung up after 15 seconds..nothing said

This number has called my land line up to 10-15 times in one day for about 2 months. I never pick up. Now they call about 2 times a day which is still very irritating since I am a homemaker. The Caller ID says Bank of America. I bank with Bank of America and found it was odd that they were calling me and that it wasn't a 800 number or an 866 number. I have a friend that worked for Bank of America and she couldn't even call out from the call center. So I called them and they said that it was NOT one of their numbers and not to call the number back. I've been filing complaints with the Do Not Call Registry in hopes that they can investigate this and keep them from trying to trick people into believing they are Bank of America. I'm almost 100% positive they are just trying to get people's social security numbers and bank account (debit card) numbers to steal your identity. Be careful!!!

Caller ID said Bank of America. I didn't answer. We don't have BoA and never have, so not sure why they are calling us!
Tony 2011-06-06 20:44:37 Unknown
Why would you give someone you don't know your info to opt out of calls you didnt ask for?
That's stupid. Don't give out info!
Joan 2011-06-06 20:44:37 Unknown
Any ideas who this might be?
M 2010-08-26 23:55:44 Unknown
This number calls me everyday. I stopped answering it because they never say anything when i pick up. It's truly harassment when they call multiple times day.

I got calls from this number 3 days is in a row. Did not leave a message . Call id indicated calls are from Houston. Who are these people? These are annoying calls and should be investigated.
caz 2010-08-25 01:32:44 Unknown
No answer on the other end, surely very unprofessional if it is BOA, who would want to do business with them.

My caller ID also says Houston, TX. I didn't answer the first few times they called, but they are persistent, and the two times I did they didn't respond.
Linda 2010-08-19 03:09:25 Unknown
Caller ID says Houston TX.
Have not answered it, and they don't leave a message. Have called for 3 days in a row now.

Received calls from them the last three days. Both previous days, the line was dead when I answered. Today, the person asked for me by name. After I responded, they disconnected.
Calling the number back reaches a Bank of America menu.

Received a call today from this number, from adult male. He asked for my husband by name. Refused to leave a message. I think if it was something legitimate he would have left a name or business name. Scam?

Got my daily call from this number. Never says a word once I answer. Of course, in the past, I've told both BofA and the Fraternal of Police to go jump in a deep lake. B of A is making a (ahem) courtesy call? I told them my friends never say they're making a courtesy call...so, guess we're not friends?
John 2010-08-03 17:42:38 Unknown
It comes up as Houston TX, rings and rings, and when the voicemail picks up, they leave no message.
LJ 2010-08-03 16:09:35 Unknown
Caller ID said Bank of America. I didn't answer. We don't have BoA and never have, so not sure why they'd be trying to sell us additional services (mentioned in above msgs)

calls and leaves no message. I have a BofA account so get a multitude of their marketing calls.

This is probably Bank of America selling Health Insurance, though when I called B of A they said it "Should" have been from an 800 number. The fraud dept at B of A did not know but said it was probably them.

That actually is Bank of America, but they are trying to sell additional services. You can request to be put on their don't call list if you call the number.

Called and asked to speak to my husband. We are Bank of America customers and they call frequently to speak to him. We are both on the mortgage, but they will not tell me why they are calling.

Also got a call from this number. Caller ID said Bank of America. I didn't answer. No message was left.
