the first time i had a call i missed the call so i rang the number to see who the call was from but was told the call would cost me 85p per minute.i've had 3 more calls but just let ring out

They have called me so many times this week and every time I pick up they just sit on the phone and don't answer.

Rings off the hook I answer and it is silent.

Voice sounded indian or pakistani. For some reason I couldn't hear anyone there so HAD TO hang up......

Calls all the time, but I never answer it. Reading these posts, now I know exactly why I don't!

I get calls from this number every day, all day. When I pick up and hang up (as if the call was being blocked), I usually get another call within 10 seconds with Private or Unavailable.

I get the same noise, background chatter, etc. Back in the day, burglars used to do this to see if anyone was home. These almost seem like the phone equiv of nnap probes.

I've been getting calls from this number for the past three days. When I answer, nobody is there. At least answer so I can give you a piece of my mind. I think someone out there gets a kick out of calling people and just waiting for them to pick up so they can sit there and get laugh when you do. Even though you know you will get the same result every time.

Rude, calls at night, when I hang up they call back Three or Four times . They say they have $5.ooo,00 dollars an all they need is for me to confirm my SS Number.

Yes, they've called three times (once a day at varying times). Since I have caller ID and an audio announce of the number, I've not picked them up: I mean a number like 287-123-1114 sure sounds weird to me. As an aside, I get some from 000-000-0000 and a couple from 123-456-7890.

Anyway, yeah, I gave them my social security number, my bank account number, and my credit card numbers. I mean, they were *so* honest and sincere. I feel confident that I did the right thing because the guy who post I am replying to did the same thing!

We are both *very* wise investors. Oh, anyone want my PayPal info? I still get e-mails declaring there is a terrible problem with my account, so I must click on the link. I used to receive some from eBay. Naturally, I just forward them on to PayPal and eBay--at completely different URLs. (If only people would check out the link and compare it with the "real one," a lot of hassles could be avoided.

Sorry for the rant: it's just I didn't want any of you guys to miss out on this great $50,000 deposit made directly to your accounts. I've been waiting about 20-days now, but I won't bother to check with them until after 30-days go by. I mean, I have to be reasonable in this business matter, right?

i also have been receiving calls from this number all week. the last time i answered a man offered me a $5000 government grant. all i had to do was give him my account number so he could transfer the funds. of course i always give out that information to strangers wanting to give me free money. who wouldn't jump on an offer like that.

Calls two or three times a day more or less at random. No answer, no one on the phone, no background noise I can identify. Hangs up after 20 seconds or so when I'm willing to wait that long.

Called me at 3:25pm PST, They left a message that said "hello" with a bunch of phones ringing in the background and a lot of random talking.

they called at 10:00am when i picked up there was no answer. but dead scilence for a good 20 seconds before call ended. i wonder who it was?
