This is a fraud campaign currently active in Canada using a series of Iristel VOIP numbers. The objective is to obtain your credit card number and drain your account.
If you attempt to "opt out" your number will be confirmed as live and added to a suckers list for repeated future calls.

Claimed my number was selected from a recent survey to win a Cancun trip. I NEVER GIVE OUT MY NUMBER FOR SURVEYS! Sorry for shouting, but these calls are extremely annoying. I only answered because I did not recognize the area code and there are so many new ones these days.

Just received a call and picked up. "This call is to Thank you for participating in ...internet survey, Thank you again and we are pleased to inform you that you have been selected for one of the three prizes. To proceed for the prize press 1, to remove press 3"
Pressed 3 ...silence, pressed again..line disconnected...

Just received a call from this number. Did not answer. Call display reads "Grimsby ON". Had a similar call last week but call display said "Windsor ON". Probably run by the same group of scammers.

Had this number 3 times within one week.. finally picked up and they proceeded to inform me that my credit was being tampered with, i was asked to give out my last 4 digits of my Social insurance number etc..
