I am in BC and also got a text from debbiesmith85@yahoo.com regarding a car I am selling on autotrader. It seemed odd so I searched and found this post - thanks for the warning!

Got a text to buy r trailer, I'm from ab and this is Ontario. No negotiating on price just wanted the trailer shipped up without seeing it. Wanted to use PayPal. SCAM

I just listed my car on kijiji and got a text from this number right away for info and sent to debbiesmith85@yahoo.com. I'm in calgary and this is a southern ontario number. almost definitely a scam.
