Actually, they (political parties, their candidates and all Canadian registered charities) are required to maintain an internal do not call list. Ask to be placed on it. If they call again you may report them to the Do Not Call List Operator at 1-866-580-3625.

They still shouldn't be able to call multiple times a day. In the last 4 hours, we've received 3 calls from this number. Now that I know it's Hudak-related, I'll probably pick up next time and tell them to get lost.

All political parties make these calls, both to drum up support, and to create statistics. Political parties and charities are not required to remove your name from their calling lists.

FINALLY answered this number because it appears NUMEROUS times on my display per day. She asked for my support for Tim Hudak - cut her off and said that these frequent calls are EXTREMELY annoying and to please take us off the list. Do people really converse with these callers about politics?

I didn't answer, but called back (assuming this was auto dialed) and got a msg saying "thank you for calling campaign support". They do give an option to remove your # but you have to leave your name and phone # on a msg. Not sure if I trust that.
