I received the same letter 1/24/2009 along with a "check" for 4,987.85 and knew RIGHT off the bat that it was a scam. I've never entered a lottery and why would you have to GIVE money to receive money?? Needless to say, I'll be contacting the proper authorities and hopefully these scam artists will be brought to justice.

I received the same letter with the same information listed below.  Hope everyone who receives this letter and check, checks out the company prior to trying to cash the check.

Received check from Trinity Healthcare, Inc.  Address of 20 Oak Street, Muscatine, IA.  There is also another address on the letter of 752 16th St. Calgary, AB T3B 7j9, Canada.  Check is drawn on First Union National Bank, Chapel Hill, NC.  Check looks too legitimate and even has a gold foil seal on front.  The letter says we won $150,000 in a Sony promotion and are the winners of the National Lotto Co-Operation Sweepstakes Lottery.  Check received is for $4986.98.  Then they want us to send them $2998.00 in taxes to the tax agent Oscar Milton.  His number is 289-888-1662 and when called the machine states that it is full and can't accept more messages.  Guess it's off to the police tomorrow.
