no call but got a letter from Fidelity Global Inc. stating I wom the lottery called the # on the letter was told to deposit the check and to call back, what a joke!!!

yeup got the same letter, an a check. called the phone# got some guy seid im a winner an that i need to cash the check. then the call was droped. havent been able to reach them again.google searched the canada address satelite veaw shows what looks like a constrution equip yard.   HAS ANYONE FOUND OUT WHATS THE STORY WITH THIS?

Most likely fraudulent. A scam to either get your account info if you deposit the check, and money if you are naive enough to wire the tax money. Most banks won't put a hold on a check under 5000.00 so a trusting person thinks he bank credited it to their account. Must be real. So they send the 2900.00, spend the rest, and then the check is returned from Chase
fraudulent" and they are in a heap of trouble! NSF fees, bounced checks, and the bank reports them to chexsystems... it can financially ruin someone. My advice, take the check to Chase. They should be able to verify it. And if it is legit make sure they memo post cash it and don't put your account info on it anywhere.

We got the same letter too. Taking it to Chase to verify and if not will turn over to police.

i make a copy and give the authority (Police Dept) for investigation for fraud.

my wife got the same letter ,  it said to get the rest of the 150,000.00 to call that number.  i bet everybody got the same claim # too. [ha ha]

I GOT THE SAME LETTER IT WAS TEMPTING TO CASH THE CHECK BUT I HAVE A HISTORY OF IDENTITY THEFT. LET ME KNOW IF IS TRUE

I recieved one of this letter stating that I won a prize in the amount of 150K. A check was sent in the amount of $4978.99 as partial disbursement to pay taxes. I was to call the tax agent at the 289 number to get tax information from the tax agent Nancy Bakek. Instructed to call her within 5 days. I felt compel to investigate because I had not bought a Lotto ticket. Never have in my life and I'm 57 years old. The person signing signature did not match the person's name a the bottom Mrs. Sandra Freeman-Promotion/Claim Manager. Please give some input on this matter.

No call but a letter from Fidelity Global, Inc. stating that I'm a winner of the National Lotto Co-Operation Sweepstakes Lottery. Gives a P.O. in Baton Rouge on the check and the letter, but on the letter there is another address in Canada.
