The caller didn't leave a message.

I was called at 7:39 am.  A hangup

WE HAVE HAD THE SAME CALL TWICE IN THE LAST WEEK. WE TELL THEM WE ARE NOT INTERESTED UNLESS WE HAVE THEIR # TO CALL BACK SO THAT WE CAN VERIFY THEY ARE WITH WHOM THEY SAY THEY ARE WITH. THEY GETS ATTITUDES WITH US AND SAY THANKS AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS CONTACT US AT________________ AND...THEY SAY THE NUMBER REALLY FAST AND HANGS UP.....grrrrr!!! ;D
I HAVE BEEN *57 'ING THEM (ANNOYANCE CALL TRACING)ONCE THEY GET 3 CALLS TRACED BACK TO THE SAME NUMBER, THE COMPNAY GETS FINED. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL STOP THEM!!!

The reason you get the "disconnected" answer when you call that number back is, it's a OUTgoing line only. One of many in a phone bank. They can make the out going calls but they can't take any incoming calls. Thier own way of protecting themselves. Oh, and by calling them back, IF you do get through, that is thier way of skirting the Do Not Call list, because YOU called them. Sick huh?

They keep calling our phone and when I answer they hang up.  I tried
to call the phone # back and it says its a disconnected #.  How can
that be when they call me?  lol

called and said she was from AT&T and she could save us on our high speed internet wanted to verify account information.  I hung up.

A lady with a southern drawl asked for someone and then began asking MY info.  I hung up

Caller told me her name was Veronica Medina, an "authorized representative of Qwest Corporation," which I seriously doubt. She asked for the person (in our office) who handles the telephone account, and then for the office manager. I claimed to be neither because I didn't want to give her any information. I have had these kinds of calls before. They claim they can save you money on your long distance charges, then tack on an extra $20 to your telephone bill each month.

Google indicated number as "Known Numbers For Telemarketers, Colletion Agencies or Unknown Sources".--"receiving calls from unknown sources. 90% of the time it is an overseas telemarketer or a collection agency. These companies have been notorious for stealing consumer identity."
