They tried to sell me b***s***

its a collection service tht mainly handles insurance companies. if you have gotten a bill from an insurance company saying that you owe for coverage, then thats why they are calling.

Caller is a spamer.

Just want to know the owner for this number.

My husband received call from this number, it was an "automated system", telling him if he wanted a cruise to press whatever, and if he wanted something else press 2, or press 3 to consult a travel agent in regards to his "prize".  Yah, he went ahead and hung up.  Hope to hell this information is helpful to the next person

same as the rest .they wont stop calling .however today i finally found a way to stop them . call them back 1-877 -289-0281 dont gve them any inf just tell them some one keeps calling your number and when they ask for your number and you recite it they will ask you your name dont give them your correct name and they will then tell you who there looking for. at that point tell them this number is not theres and they will remove it from there list.

DON'T GIVE THE PEOPLE ON THE OTHER END ANY INFORMATION!! It is a scam to get your personal information!! Don't make the same mistake I did!!!!! Initially, they asked me for the last four of my SSN.  After a few minutes of questions.. they ask for the middle two to verify something else.  Before I knew it, the had my whole SSN. Within a week I was $1,000's in the hole.

Similar problem with Allstate.  They claim they covered me an extra 30 days so I need to pay them for it.  I had switched to a new company and was covered.  They think I will be harrassed to pay them?  No way.  I think it's a scam with this bill collection company.  People are afraid to get a mark on their credit so they'll pay up.  I'm betting more than half the people they do this to pay it.  I'm reporting Allstate, they are the ones behind the fraudulent charge.

I Just got a call from them about 10 minutes ago. I answered but no-one was there.  I've gotten these calls before but when I goto the site and enter the file number  recited by the automated voice it gives me a case number not found Error.Does anyone else get that?  How the hell do they expect me to pay when they won't give me the info I need to perform the transaction???

This company is a collections company that spoofs caller I.D  They will spoof caller I.D. with random relatives names including deceased ones..There located in Maryland, they call themselves CFS.  Better to go by the number then the name on the caller I.D.
Just pick up and slam the phone down or if your bored enough give THEM the hard time. lol

This company blew up my cellular phone a month before I ever received a notice from them, I knew exactly why they were calling thanks to FARMERS Insurance. I called my agent and got the run around and it was there fault because they quoted me a price then cancelled my policy then re-wrote it, but by the time they re-wrote it for much more than what was originally agreed I went back to my other insurance that was much lower.  So here I am with this bill for charges that farmers is holding me accountable for.   I have yet to answer or even call this debt collection agency back. I know what I owe and it doesnt bother me.  It will get paid just not now.  It just ticks me off that they blow up my cell phone 3 to 4 times a day, I think thats violating FDCPA because they leave a msg every time.  Hmm...maybe I will change my cell number and see how long it takes them to get the new one. lol

LOL, these people stay busy I see. I missed the call and called back it said CCS, so I gave the lady my number since I had no file number and gave her my name she said they were looking for a girl I use to manage at the casino. Undoubtedly she left my cell number as a reference or something but the lady was polite and said she would remove it.

Called due to friend that lived with us and got into debt then left without notice. Called them back, asked for case number I said I didn't have one because they were trying to get ahold of me. Asked for phone number that I was calling in regards to, told them then she said she would remove my number.  I'll see if they actually do.

Keep getting call with no response when I answer the phone. Now I just hang up! Based on what I've read here, I will now contact the BBB, Attorney General's office and my cell phone provider to have this number blocked.

What a bunch of PITAs.

This numbber called my cell phone.  I don't give my cell number.  Whoever it is, is dialing at random.  The area code is in Wyoming.  Not to many companies in that state.  I am willing to bet is is a void line (I wouldn't be suprised if it is actually in western Africa).  If it is a void in another area like i suspect, there is nothing anybody can do about it.

I get a call every morning around 8 am from this number. A recording comes on when you answer.

I received a call from this number and answered it. It said it was regarding a personal business matter (aka debt collector...lol). I wrote down the information and checked out the website it referred me too. Ironically enough it was for a collection agency I had already spoke to that morning. They are trying to collect a debt on a bill that was paid. I have only been receiving letters until today. I have called them on multiple occasions to tell them that this debt was not valid and that it had been paid. I have even sent them proof that the debt has been paid. So today when I called (the 1st time) I was a little irritated to say the least. I told them the whole scenario again. I told her if they contacted me again I would file a complaint with the FTC. The lady pretty much laughed and said they had received my letter but until the company in question (Titan Insurance...never use them it has been nothing but a nightmare which is why I switched after 3 weeks) contacted them they could not quit attempting to collect. I asked if they had any contact information for Titan (not that it's my job to contact them) so I could try and get this resolved since it's been going on since Nov of 2007. She told me "no". I then said "so you mean to tell me you can't stop trying to collect until they tell you to stop (because they hired you) and you have no contact info on them?" I then said I would call the FTC find out what my rights were and hung up. I promptly called the FTC and filed a complaint as well as the Attorney General for their state (MA). I looked up this company on the BBB and they have a lot of complaints. Mainly for failure to update file information and unfair debt collection...so I guess I will file a complaint with them as well. Here is the numbers I have for them if you want to try and have your number removed from their list 1-877-289-0281 or 1-800-326-6400. I also highly recommend filing a complaint with the FTC if you are having issues with this company as they clearly have a history of violating federal law. These companies have to be held accountable for their actions so they will stop this behavior. They are located in MA but they automated number they called from was from MD. For the record I thought it was funny that the phone calls started today after I hung up on that lady. I called a second time and had them remove my cell phone and gave them my home as an alternate number, but told them not to call either number again as they had already been reported to both the FTC & Attorney General's office and would be continuing to violate federal law. Make sure you get names and times of contact and make a log.

I got a call from this number at 1:33 pm and i called them back 1:40 they asked for a case file number. They asked for my cell mumber and said that htey did not call me. Hello how did I just get there number then

Same as the others.  Except for me, it's because of Allstate.  I changed carriers, and Allstate didn't stop billing me.  Gave them proof of ins, gave this collection agency proof of ins, but no matter.  They want us to pay because we're tired of being harrassed and it's easier to pay than fight and put up with them.

Same, Allstate. I sent them information about switching to another company, but they continue to try to collect. I sent info to the collections company as well, and they won't stop calling. Next step BBB.

I keep receiveing calls from this number and they are asking for a specific person who is not me.  It is bothering b/c it is my cell number that they keep calling.  I did call the 1-877-289-0281 number and the lady I spoke to was nice and "removed" my number from whatever account it was tied to.

I also received this call.And I don't know why they called me and how they can get my cell number.

The same number and message as everyone else was just put on my voicemail.  I called back just to have some fun figuring it was something bogus.  It actually was a legit bill I had forgotten about.  

BUT..

There is a 9.95 charge to do a check by phone.. so I asked them to send me a statement and I would mail it in.  Just an FYI.  Btw.. it was for Farmers insurance company. (we had changed companies and still had $40 left to pay on incase anyone is curious.. lol)

Not saying all of your calls are legit.. but some of them may be (as mine was).. may want to check your credit report to see what is sitting there.

Yep, been getting calls from this #. Sad to see all of the people who are enjoying the same harassment. This is about Allstate insurance and the scam that is happening. I have my homeowners insurance with another agency. They offer to combine my auto and home for "one great rate". Don't believe them. This is about GREED! Report this right away. Don't give them a cent.

call every few days asking to someone I do not know.  I tell them to please stop calling and remove my number from the list.  Most recent person says "You really do not know *********, why would we have this as her number if she wasnt related to you?"
