So glad this is here.  I am was quite shocked to get an email like this..so I googled the number and up came this site. Thank goodness. Now I will do the proper reporting and block these people.  What a pain in the tush..but glad to know it's a scam and there are others that knew what to do.

A Steven Johnson sent me a email stating he was states attorney phone 301-232-0560 and a warrant for my arrest case #BR4723-2014 similar to these other cases has anybody got his name on warrant b***s***??? Let me know

I have also received an email with yes an American Eagle on the document, same number as the rest of you. It is illegal for them to do this if only we could get them and hang up by their short hairs.I'm sure some people get upset and panic and pay them,not me I've had enough calls like this I play their game. When I start questioning them and they say they are gonna have a warrant out for my arrest, I tell them oh wait I'm close to the jail in my town, I'll let you talk to the sherriff and then you don't have to worry I'll get arrested right here and now. Either they hang up or say oh no we don't need to do that if you'll just pay, yeah right idiots. Scum bag scammers.

Yup. Same here. Steven Johnson from the State Attorney's Office in Sandy Spring MD. Same docket, BCR47238-2014. I repsonded with "F U Scammer!". Like I have time for that BS.

I received the same email that everyone else did and I tried to call them and the number doesn't even go through.  The nerve of these people trying to scam Americans out of money that personally I don't even have as a single mother taking care of a disabled child.  These people need to be shot, to scare people with the same case number is crazy since everyone should have their own case number and not share one.

Frances, I received an email with the same docut number telling me to call them within the next 6 hours so they wouldn't put out an arrest warrant on me. Mine is from a Steven Johnson docut number BRC47238-2014.

I received and email today with he case number BRC47238-2014 along with an arrest warrant. So I called the number that was on the email (301)232-0560 and a foreigner answered the phone and stated that he was his chief legal aid and that I had taken out a cash advance back in November of 2012 and I wasn't even working then..SMH!! Then the guy proceeded to get irate and upset so I hung up.. Something really needs to be done about this.

recieved the same e-mail as the rest .but not only this phone number a few others as well area codes  from MD  MO NE MI N Y . ALL OF WHICH IS SAME NAME . SAME CASE NUMBERS.
THE SAME NAME OF STATE ATTORNEY OFFICE. and yes they barely speack any english
at all. most of all phone numbers they leave are not active.

That way, the caller memorizes (or reads) only one script.  Since the low-level turnover may be quite rapid, scammers may enjoy that technique, particularly if English is not their first language.

It is amazing how everyone has the same Docket #, and I contacted the State Attorney's office no one by that name worked there . and everyone you speak to has an indian accent.......

I got, the same email and the same docket number. But I let, Mr. Anderson know, that I was going to hunt his a** down if he try to contact me one more time. The nerve, of these people with no lives. They are trying to steal from innocent people everyday. There has to be a way to stop them.

LOL - Did your email from Mike Anderson have the same cool eagle graphic. These scams are getting laughable now.  There should be a Facebook site where we can share the calls and emails and rip on these guys.

I got the same e-mail as you with this same docket number BRC47238-2014 and it said that I have 6 hours from the time of the notice of that e-mail to respond and if I didn't Mike J Anderson who wrote the e-mail to me stated that he will inform their client to persuade with charges and that I will be arrested in 48 hours. The e-mail address it came from was mikejandersonus.gov.attorney@gmail.com

Yeah...I got the same case number from an email and that I had 6 hours to respond...these people we show them mercy, God will take care of them
