(301) 298-1328 calls but no message. Blocked

There is no business here so there's no reason for a scammer to update our listing. We just ignore callers we don't know.

Received 4th call today, May 4, 2014, from 301-298-1328.  "Listing" appears on the screen.   We do not pick up if we don't recognize number.  This is just annoying!

Scam, recorded voice claimed to be from Google Maps, calling to confirm recent changes made to my listing.

They call our business several times per week asking if we would like to update our free Google listing. I pressed the number for removing me from their list but they continue calling.

I don't answer callers I don't recognize. It's my free and effective low tech solution to scam callers.

they called long talk about what category we do business in then I ask if they work for directly, then again who is their employer and they promptly hung up, must be a scam from upper marlbo MD Maryland according to call id. Must be a scam company.

Supposedly calling for google maps with a change to our status - only 1 problem here, we don't have any and are a government entity.  When I tried to speak with someone about it, they prompty hung up on me.

They claim to be a Google partner, but as soon as you say something that indicates no interest, they hang up. Very rude and unprofessional. They claim to be a Certified Google Partner. They want to get you "top listing". In other words, they want money for what you can do yourself.

Keeps calling. Have not answered as out of area. Does not leave message.

Got a call, didn't answer.  Seems suspicious as it is far away.

Received a call from this number this afternoon on my business line.  The pre-recorded female caller left the following message - "This is a caller from one of your status providers.  Your status has changed in your area.  Please press one to speak to an agent or press 2 to be removed from this calling list."

Registered a complaint to donotcall.gov.

recording: "..the google maps status service provider..." lol BLOCKED

Called this afternoon.  On caller id name is "maryland".  didn't leave a message so don't know who this is or the company.  

They stated they were from google maps and wanted to verify address and then rudely hung up the phone.  Only get answering system when I called back to let them know how rude the caller was.....

Received a call from 301-298-1328 at 1:40PM EDT. Hung up with no message. We are in the 301 area code and would have answered if not on another call at the time. Based on this thread, we will block. I suspect a political solicitation, but don't really know.

They keep calling my business but everytime I pick it up they hang up. Its getting really annoying!!!!
