I have been fed up with the emails coming from, what looks like myself! This spammer has a phone number for contact which is 301-396-3506 and belongs to a University Program (that's how they identify themselves). I get a lot of them because I have a lot of web pages with email that fall in the same place. I am assuming it is a web crawler picking up the email addresses. This is what I do with spam:
I hit forward and send them to SPAM@UCE.GOV and let them take care of it. Every day I send all my spam there and eventually they stop. I do like the calling 100 times a day to the phone number though idea, but who has that kind of time?

We can assist with Diplomas from prestigious universities based on your present knowledge and professional experience.

Get a Degree in 5 weeks with our program!

It is from my address to my address with the this number to call.  Why isn't the government doing anything to stop this type AHs!

Just received Spam which downloaed into my home pc from this Gyspsy outfit purportimng to be involved in university degree programs.  I already forwrded copies of this Spam to ken.cuccinelli@attorney.general.va.gov , eric. older@attorney. general.gov, us; info@fbi.gov and spam@uce.gov.  T am tired of receiving this inspid stuff.  In addition, I truly belive that these Gypsies are reall involved with internet drug trafficking rather than universit programs.  The university programs, which obviously are bogus, is just a ruse.

I mean't to say he convienently didn't have an e-mail address.  I also called him back and spoke until he said he was "uncofortable with the conversation".   I haven't been spoofed since.  It stopped that day.  The best advice is confrontation.  Use one of the names of your returned e-mails and get the jerk to call you.

We could also file an FBI complaint complaint.  Which is just what I theatened to do if I got one more spoofed return.  This guy or these guys are cowards who scam dumb people.  Call him and tell him to stop or else you will file complaints and do everything in your power to make there lives equally miserable.  It was driving me crazy too. All this advise about how you can't stop it is BS.  Figure out who they are and make it stop.  Got my e-mail address back.

Everyone needs to fill a FTC complaint about this to get anything done.

They are using my address too.  I called the motherf'r and left my "false name and a phone number said I was interested in a degree.  This guy called called me back name "Dr Mark Richards".  A proffesser at a colorado university who convienently did have e-mail.

I am now making it my mission to get even for what i consider slander.  I am considering filing a police report in maryland.  Where the 301 number is located and another in NY where the number he called me from a cell phone 646-217-4938.  These people sucker idiots into buying a ficticious degrees.  Scum bags all around. Please feel free to call this a-hole(s) and get your pound of flesh too.

A way to at least stop the returned e-mails is to go into your spam filters and block all e-mails with the phrase_______  I used the phone number 301-396-3506 as the phrase,

The same thing has been happening to me I have reported it to the FBI's internet crime reporting system and the IRS's abuse web site as the returned emials I was getting about a week ago were spoofed to look like the IRS's electronic payment system failure.  I have also reported it to the FTC however so far nothing has been working.

The return email address is DEFINITELY faked / spoofed, as one of the "undeliverable" reports just came to me. Somebody has been having a lot of fun spoofing my email address, and I'm not sure how to report it to Yahoo. I've started getting hundreds of bounced email notices over the past few weeks.

I just found some info on this. It is an old scam called a "Degree Mill" and there is an Federal Trade Commision site where you can file a complaint and report it.....copy and paste the .gov link below and towards the bottom is a link to report this...probably should make a new complaint every time the contact phone number changes in the email.

Maybe it's a meaningless email from a spammer who is trying to identify and compile "spam traps"? I wouldn't call the number, it's probably some poor guy's number who has nothing to do with this. The email's IP is probably faked and the return email address is probably spoofed. Just be glad you are not the owner of that phone number OR the return email addy being used. You would be getting hate email and phone calls.
