Well I see all the comments on this number from some time ago- guess what?! They're baaacccckkkk....... Not bad enough they make unsolicited calls- they make them to our 800 number- can't even spend their own nickel. Going straight to call block with these guys.

I signed up for HARO as well (Help a Reporter Out) - but wasn't expecting to be spammed via phone by telemarketers.  Not happy. It's probably like closing the barn door after the horse is out, but I've cancelled my account with HARO and unsubscribed from everything they sent me.

Quit calling, you have called 3 times in the past 2 hours, that is harassment.

I have received a couple calls from this number on my cell phone.  I do not give my cell phone number out to anyone other than close friends and family so I have no idea how this caller has gotten my number.  They do not leave a message.  I ignore the calls.

This number keeps calling me too, please someone get them to stop!

Got a call and the woman said she was from direct buy and I had been picked as a finalist to win a $25,000 gift card. What a scam

It seems Vocus is the parent company that has bought the others...they are apparently working at losing all of the customers from the companies they consume...

I just canceled my account at PRWEB...and everybody else should also.

If you read terms and services, by entering your info you're allowing them to call you. Spoke with a employee and they said they call to see if we are interested in the other stuff they do.
I just told them I wasn't interested and they didnt argue just took me off the list.

They have been calling and leaving messages about pr set up BUT they know my name???? I never signed up for s##t!!! The only thing I signed up for was at&ts uverse Internet and the very next day they started calling me leaving messages with my name...... I absolutely feel that AT&T UVerse sold me out. A**holes!!!

Vocus called me at 7:12 AM, didn't say who or what they were. This guy name unknown started asking me about my business. I asked him if he knew that it was 7:15Am. He said "yeah". I said"do you often make business calls at this hour, he said "yeah". I told him I did not respect any company who does that, and then, very politely, "Thanks but no thanks." and hung up. I looked up the number, and found it was coming from Maryland, USA. I live on Pacific coast of BC, Canada. There is a THREE HOUR TIME DIFFERENCE. Ok so maybe he did not know. What a jerk in any case. I am blocking this number.

amazing what a coincidence. Here I am looking into Hughs Net and no freakin clue that this number 301 459 2590 was them until I ran it. SOB'S have called me at least 4 times in 3 days once was like 9 PM at night. I was not a happy camper so given what I have seen here Too damn bad Hughs net you just lost a seriously potential customer due to your persistent phone calls as late as 9 pm. what va damn shame! This is a company called Vocus aka PRWeb. They typically don't do cold calls. You either have an account with them and they're checking up to see how things are going or you did something to prompt the phone call, like doing a press release or something.

I have heard that the do call you if you have an iContact or HelpAReporterOut (HARO) account because they assume you might have some interest in ress releases services. They are very non-pushy and are just asking a question. Just say no thanks and move on.

I have an account with them and can say that they are extremely friendly and helpful for a PR company. Very hands on, so if you ARE in the market for doing press releases, they're actually pretty good.

I am concerned about giving my real name.  They seemed to know it and to know an email address that I rarely use.  I am reporting them to aol and also to a friend in the states atty. It was very very peculiar.

Just got a call from this number, they are PRWeb.  I attended a free webinar of theirs, hence the call.

Got an unsolicited telemarketing call from them shortly after sighing up at Help A Reporter Out too.

Still I-Contact.  Called me again today... exactly 30 days after they called last time.

Yup, it's I-Contact.  Bulk emailing service.

Says he's calling regarding my iContact account.  I use iContact for my business... wondering if iContact sold my info and that's why they are trying to market to me?  Don't need PR services...
