I received this email also promising to by a Kerby vacuum. What do I do now. He i suppose to send the check. I gave. Him my info.

Yes, I too received the following email from Kevin Slade in response to an item I was selling on Craigslist.  The grammar and use of words lead me to believe that English is not his first language.
I love the part where he refers to his secretary.  

"Hello,
I really appreciate your response to my email, i am completely
satisfied with the advert  and do consider it sold to me, i agreed
with the price but i need you to withdraw the advert from Craigslist
to  avoid disturbance.  I would love to come and check it myself but I
am getting married next week and am very busy at the moment. but you
don't  need to bother yourself with the Shipment,  I'll be responsible
with the pick up, I'll  send a Certified check to you which you can
Easily Cash in your Bank or any Cashing Store around you. my secretary
will mail across to you IMMEDIATELY.and after my check have been
Cleared in your bank then i will  arrange for the pick up. The  check
will  be delivered to you via USPS Postal Mail OR FEDEX Kindly provide
me the following information to facilitate the mailing of the check
to your location.

1.  Full name to write on the check
2.  Full Physical address to post the  check
3.  City, State and Zip Code
4.  Cell Phone to contact you

I was selling some furniture and this guy emails me. Which my email is anonymous on Craigslist.com. Anyways he goes under the name Johnson Cole and mails me this.

Well, I got the same email saying that he was ok with my price, wanted same info and I replied and let him know that I knew he was a scammer....

I listed an item on Craig's list. This guy called himself John Wilson and sent an e-mail from jwjmk53@gmail.com. He wanted to send me all my contact info no doubt to steal my identity.

BEWARE!

You guys are right. I too have gotten emails from him for a car Im selling on Craigslist. Always refers to car as "your item". Wants to send a certified check for much over the asking price. Yes its that old scam again! Was hoping his number was good so I could prank him!
