I am SO SICK and tired of these calls daily from online pharmaceutical companies and as soon as I put in DO NOT ANSWER from the number, they call from another number.  I had a threat made to me, asking if I was a terrorist, they said they knew where I lived and were going to bomb my home, but not before raping me.  I reported that to my cell provider and to the police.  I have never ordered from a pharmaceutical company that is online.  Just received a call from Agent Castillo, but didn't answer and it is almost November 2013.  I looked up this 301 number and read about the scam so I called him back and left a message that if he calls me, I will refer him to my attorney.  His Voice Message was a muffled VM and such a SCAM.  It is becoming very harassing and I can't answer my phone without fear anymore.

Called on 10/9 - I called him back (knowing it was a scam) but could only leave a message.  I acted scared and asked what I can do to stop the search and warrant for my arrest that he threatened.  Lets see what he does next  - this is kinda fun!

Just got my call today 10/10/13, for "Special Agent Castillo", he's one very busy man ;) I did not call him back.  He referenced an ongoing investigation as well, and the message was left for me with my maiden name (I've been married a long time now, so he's found some very old record of me).  What a scam!

OK.. This is ridiculous!!  This phone number was reported Nov. 2012 and Nobody's Fool and I just got calls Sept 30, 2013, almost a year later!! What is taking them so long to stop these people?? Not even shutting down the phone number?? I called the DEA number and I filled out the online report.. If the DEA doesn't stop this TODAY they are just as responsible for this criminal scam as the people perpetrating it.. How long does it take?  I'm surprised Agent Castillo still has the nerve to continue using the same phone number a year later.  He must know the ineptitude of the DEA better than we do!!

What a joke! Same call, same agent as above left me a message. Must have gotten my # and name via directory. His accent is so thick, I can barely understand him. Has to ask me some questions re:an ongoing investigation and if I don't answer, the DA will issue an arrest warrant. Somehow I doubt that the DEA would operate this way and I have no idea why they would want "to ask me some questions" in the first place. What next?

I just got a call from the same "agent." I called back the number and left a message. Told him to f*** off, I'm tired of the DEA scam, I've already called DEA a very long time ago to prove this is a scam. Told him not to call me again.  He had an accent.

I received this call yesterday from "Special Agent Robert Castillo" as well. Although he did threaten me with arrest and said there was a warrant out for my arrest, he did not get around to asking for the money. Maybe he was waiting for the next phone call.

Someone called from this Number 301-494-7203 and left a message on the answering machine saying there is a Warrant out for my Arrest. I don't know who that person is but he could have almost given my Dad another Heart Attack leaving a message like that.

It needs to stop NOW

ALERT - EXTORTION SCAM - ALERT

DEA Warns Public of Extortion Scam by
DEA Special Agent Impersonators

The Drug Enforcement Administration is warning the public about criminals posing as DEA special agents or other law enforcement personnel as part of an international extortion scheme.

The criminals call the victims (who in most cases previously purchased drugs over the lnternet or by telephone) and identify themselves as DEA agents or law enforcement officials from other agencies.  The impersonators inform their victims that purchasing drugs over the lnternet or by telephone is illegal, and that enforcement action will be taken against them unless they pay a fine.  In most cases, the impersonators instruct their victims to pay the "fine" via wire transfer to a designated location, usually overseas.  If victims refuse to send money, the impersonators often threaten to arrest them or search their property.  Some victims who purchased their drugs using a credit card also reported fraudulent use of their credit cards.

Impersonating a federal agent is a violation of federal law.  The public should be aware that no DEA agent will ever contact members of the public by telephone to demand money or any other form of payment.

The DEA reminds the public to use caution when purchasing controlled substance pharmaceuticals by telephone or through the Internet.  It is illegal to purchase controlled substance pharmaceuticals online or by telephone unless very stringent requirements are met.  And, all pharmacies that dispense controlled substance pharmaceuticals by means of the lnternet must be registered with DEA.  By ordering any pharmaceutical medications online or by telephone from unknown entities, members of the public risk receiving unsafe, counterfeit, and/or ineffective drugs from criminals who operate outside the law.  In addition, personal and financial information could be compromised.

Anyone receiving a telephone call from a person purporting to be a DEA special agent or other law enforcement official seeking money should refuse the demand and report the threat.
