Called today, he said f*** you, then hung up. Called him back and now we are having a 'f*** you' war back and forth.

Claimed to be from sony saying I won a prize using this phone number on a coupon. I do shop at Sony, and he did not ask for anything personal. Just asked if manager could contact me later. I blocked the number because it is not a sony number. scam.

I got a call last evening at 5:50, same routine the others stated. I was busy fixing dinner and I couldn't understand most of what he said because of his accent. He said I had won one of 3 prizes because I had filled out a form at either Walmart, Kmart, Best Buy and a few others. I generally don't fill out forms for  prizes and I generally don't shop at Walmart, Kmart, Best Buy etc. He said I had to go to the Holiday Inn in D.C. to get the prize. I try never to go to D.C. He insisted he had all this information on the details of the prizes. Unfortunately, I told him to send me the info and I gave him my E-mail. He said he would send info within an hour. I never received the E-mail and my husband said it was probably a phishing expedition for a possible identity theft. Now I'm quite upset but I don't know who to tell.

Same situation here. Got a call from the above number about some Sony coupon and that I need to show up at a holiday inn to pick one of three gifts. It has scam written all over it.

Received a call from the phone number. When I returned the call, it sounded like the caller had a microphone to cover their voice to sound like an operator voice. I tried asking random questions to see if it was a recording or how they would respond. It is the same Sony coupon you won, blah blah blah. But when I asked for further info, I was also given a 703-859-9545. when i got something to start writing things down. he became very impatient, going, "Hellooooo?"  Then started asking about my relationship status... I know that is not something I would have filled out, and hung up.

Called today (April 12 2013) and I answered as it was a local area code (for me in Maryland) and thought it might be about a delivery I was expecting from a local store. Guy with very poor language skills saying he was from something called Premier (rest was unintelligible and I assume purposely garbled) and tried to tell me the number had been entered in some give away in DC. I told him I never enter anything, had not been in DC in years and to not call again.

Said he was from Holiday Inn Georgetown, and claimed my cell phone number had been left on a coupon in a prize drawing. Scam.

Same sound and dance. I was selected...come claim my prize.  I asked them not to call further; we will see if they comply.

Recieved a call from this number, too.  Listened to shtick for a minute then hung up.  He called back 20 times before I picked up and told him to stop calling.  He called back repeatedly until I picked up and asked for a manager.  He got very hostile, asking why I wasted his time and refused to let me speak to a manager.  Does anyone know how to report something like this?

I got a call - they said I got a coupon from sony . I hung up and googled to find out more. I have coded my phone now to ignore this number

Received a call from this number @ 3:04 p.m. today. I did not answer and no message was left.

they called me and i answered and they claimed that i got a sony coupon when i went shopping a while ago, but i dont go shopping or buy sony products so i assumed it was a scam and hung up. it sounded like a scam and he wasn't very good at speaking english.

Had this number appear as an incoming call to my mobile (area 828). Have no idea who it might be, I didn't answer and no message. Maybe a wrong number but if anyone can ID it to a telemarketer or similar, I would like to know so I can report them to the FTC.
