Since it appears that most of us who are getting these calls all have caller ID.  

If we could get as many people as possible to NOT answer these calls we might be

better off.


At my house if the Caller ID comes up unknown or unavailable we DO NOT Answer it.

I dont bother picking the phone up.  I dont call them back.  If they cant leave

a message then it couldnt be that important. If you do call them back they might

not call back, but I would bet a paycheck that since they know you are a real

person, they now will sell your number to 50 other callers you dont know.


If someone I do know wants to hide their caller ID number then they will just

have to wait until I listen to the message and call them back.


It's YOUR phone.  You have no obligation to alter what you are doing to answer

it.  Enjoy life and just let it ring.  If answering the phone is what you live

for, then get a second number and double your pleasure with these idiots.


The "Do Not Call" registry doesnt seem to work.  Maybe the "Do Not Answer"

registry will have some effect.

I have gotten several calls, sometimes less than 30 minutes apart from this number...nobody on the other end.

if yuo call this number, yu get a recording that says "this number is not in service"

Have received several most recently 1:25pm today .call comes in, no body responds when I answer.

I have been receiving calls from this number all week 2x a day.
When I have picked up no one is there--no message, etc.

Someone from this number calls my house phone number everyday!  I don't answer the call because I know it's some kind of recording - just don't want to get frustrated!

Just because you are on the Do Not Call List does NOT mean they cannot call you. Telemarketers have discovered loop-holes in the system and can find different means to communicate with unresponsive numbers. But I'll let you know this now, the longer you refuse their calls, the more they'll continue to call. Ironic I know but if you want them to slow up, the very LEAST I can suggest you do is pick up. Just don't accept any offers or anything, see what that does. Of course if it doesn't work, what do I know? I'm just a 20 year old college student.

received a call fromthis number and they hung up before the call even got to the message machine recording.....???????...............NUTS.........!

I have received several calls from this number. It is a recording stating that it is part of the Economic stimulus package for homeowners. It is BOGUS. I have had these calls before and pushed the option to speak to a person and they refuse to give you the name of their company and hang on you.! I am on the do not call list and should not be receiving these calls
