I know these people are from Chase.  I talk to them one day for thirty minutes.  They call me again at home and cell the next day 15 to 20 times.  I have no reason to answer as not much has changed since the day before.

I truly believe this is some vile attempt at discouraging me for not paying my cc debt as if it helps anyone to do what they are doing. I feel sorry for myself and sorry for my fellow countrymen.  I ask them if they would feel better if I just blew my brains out--they didn't respond.  (I wouldn't do it anyway)

The government gave them all they wanted in the Bankruptcy law edorsed by most of our fine Senators, who changed the rules to get your home, your savings and enslave your future.

I get these calls from multiple different numbers & do not answer the numbers I don't recognize. This is really hard because I am waiting for people to call me back about a new job & I don't know which new numbers are these scams & which are not. I am going through a bankruptcy so these people are BY LAW not supposed to contact me, but they are calling me on my CELL PHONE which is a number they shouldn't have had in the first place. BUT - the government in their infinite wisdom made all cell phone numbers PUBLIC. I never saw the vote on that - I would have voted against it.

Most recent call I decided to answer to tell them to stop. I said "hello" and waited and waited and waited to a dead line. Then in a crackly connection, a recorded voice said that all their lines were busy and that I would have to hold on the line. HOW RIDICULOUS!! They're the ones that called me!! How dare they ask me to hold!!

And the only time they ever leave a message it is some Indian guy who I can barely understand anyway! I am NOT changing my number! I have had this number since my first cell phone.

It is Chase bank...I used to work for them in their credit dept & customer service. My husband has one Chase card & I have 4...We had to stop paying on them in January because we were having trouble even buying groceries and gas for him to get to work everyday. We also stopped paying on our other cards too so we get calls all day and seems like they all call within minutes of each other. I cannot blame them for calling since we are delinquent, I worked for them so I know what we are doing is bad but umm hello economy sucks. We have 3 kids under 4 & one income so we have no other choice. Had perfect credit until now!

Call them back and tell them who ever they are looking for does not live/work at this number. Tell them to take your number off their call list, see if it works. Or pay your bill. lol.

Thank you Jay for your diligent information I hope it helps.  If it is Chase
all I can say is they or no better then the thugs, charging people 30%, giving them no hope to pay things off.  But banks aren't there to help the people who need it.  Why not create a United American Bank with loans for 10%
you surely would make money, and I am sure there are a lot of good people out there who will pay there bills but want some hope of getting out from underneath them.  No late fees! no limit fees!
As far as Chase goes I put a CASH deposit in my account through the ATM but apparently after the cut off time.  I live paycheck to paycheck, so I had several checks hit my account that night after midnight but before my cash deposit was recorded.  I was charged $210 nsf, I went into the Chase bank and explained that I did not have the money for the nsf fees and the deposits I would be making will only cover the checks that will be coming through.

But that did not matter, they took the nsf fees for that day, and bounced the next days checks and the next days checks.  In all I had over $1000 in nsf fees. I tried to close my account to stop the bleeding but they said if you have any automatic debits or credits they can not close the account. So I basically was charged over 400% for the inital overdraft.

To say I hate Chase would be an understatment, they are a very heartless bank.

I would stay away from Chase I am in the process of closing all accounts
but I have to get a hold of each automatic transaction and cancel that first.

This is more than a pain, it is taking the life out of me, I work 50 hours a week just trying to maintain, I could not pay my rent last month thanks to Chase and there fees.

Sorry for the rant but I hope that this will deter people from using Chase
and hopefully cause them some grief as well.

just got a call from chase, when they informed me the call might be recorded I told them to wait a minute as I wanted to record the call also. After getting things set up I told her ok go ahead then she tells me she cant authorize me to record the call, so I told her then I can't authorize her to record our call, she still wanted to record the call but I couldn't so I just told her goodbye. Wish I could get a bailout!

If they call 15 times a day and don't leave a message, that's harassment.  It's not legal. Call your local police station and file a complaint.

Some cell phones allow you to 'block' numbers.  If that feature is not built in to your phone,  you can Google Skeeter Ringtone - these are ringtones that 'ring' at a frequency that most people cannot hear.  Download it to your phone as a ring tone.  Save the number that calls you and assign it to a Skeeter Ringtone.   You won't be bothered again.  They'll still be calling, but you won't hear it.

When they call they say they may be recording this message. I say to them I may be recording for quality purposes. They say I can't do that. I say I am and I will. They say if I don't it will force them to hang up on me. I said to them if they do it will break my heart. Next thing I now they hang up works like a charm. I am doing it to others now. Its a lot of fun doing that to them!

The same number calls me upwards of 15 times a day and it is ridiculous.  I have made arrangements with Chase to pay my credit card and have been doing so as agreed so the harassment needs to stop...
I just love how we can save the banks a** with our tax money to bail them out of their bad judgments and mistakes yet they feel the need to harass and screw us over with high interest rates and penalties....  so the next time we need to just let them drown in their own debt and see how they deal...
