Me too. He accused me of buying illegal substances several years ago. To my knowledge I was not guilty.I told him my credit card had been stolen.I protested my innocents. He asked for $1,344 to be mailed from a CVS pharmacy Money Mart. Otherwise he said I could be extradited to the Dominican Republic or picked up for detention. He told me he was monitoring my phone calls and knew all about me. He really frightened me. I told him I could not get that amount. I am on social security. He said I could pay half now and half in 30 days. I was scared to death. He also told me to keep the matter confidential.
So I went on line to the DEA and read about this scam. Then I Googled him and found this site. Thank you and be safe.
God Bless...

Got a call from Leroy Soloman but his number was 301-835-5076!  He also told me that I would be arrested in the morning........I kept telling him I didn't do anything wrong and he kept telling me I did......The end result that for $1,225.00 I would get off the hook without a record!!  He also called me a ho and to f___ off but he threatened me with repercussions when I told him I had reported him.........I'm a little afraid because he has my  information and that worries me.

I received the same call form the same man. He did shake me up a little but his info was totally incorrect. I had not lived at the address for 5 years. The number he left me was 301-825-5077 ext 7225. I did call the number back on Saturday and found a recording claiming to be the DEA. I hope the DEA is monitoring this site so they can see the new number he is working from. 12-24-12. The call came in on 12-21-12.

The guy had an American accent and said "Hi, this is John and first, I'm not calling to sell you anything. May I speak to....". That's when I hung up. I have no interest in speaking to anyone who doesn't identify their company at the beginning of the call.

Caller ID said the call was from Rockville MD.

Got a call from this guy yesterday. Very convincing and scary until I Googled the 301 637 6077 number and saw it's a scam. That was my first tought when he said I could settle with the Domican Republic for $940.00 instead of having the police dispatched to my home. However, he had an address that was at least 6 years old. I reported call to DEA at 877-792-2873.

Leroy Solomon called leaving me the same message we have all been unfortunate to receive.  He has a very distinct accent, however it is difficult to place where the dialect originates from.  He fluctuates between being intimidating and knowledgeable and then stupid and cartoon like.  He claimed that I purchased a medication either on line or over the telephone, though he could not tell me which.  When I asked him questions like this he would get extremely perturbed reminding me that it did not matter which and that ignorance of my actions was not excuse when it came to the the law and the ramifications I could face from my actions.  I told him that I had never purchased medication on line and while he had my name and number he had an address that I had not resided at for more than half a decade.  While it was early, and my head was not on straight and it sounded ludicrous that his advice was to retain an attorney immediately to avoid my eminent arrest, search and seizure of my home, and ultimately extradition to the Dominican Republic, I was still shaken and really didn't have time to figure things out.  When he told me that for payment of a $1250.00 fine, all of this could go away.  He wanted me to go to a MoneyGram facility and do a "Window to Window" transfer to an address in the DR.  He then asked me to call him back with a reference number.  He had the gall to ask me how long I thought it would take because he would wait for me so that he could excuse himself to have lunch and he likes to make sure he has completed his job so that he could enjoy his meal.  I told him I would call him back as soon as the transaction was complete and hung up.  I immediately got on the internet and this is where i found all the dirt I needed to put my mind at ease regarding DEA agent Leroy Soloman at  3016376077.  Post after post including a legitimate DEA post asking for me and anyone like me to call and report this activity.  I called Leroy back and told him that I decided not to pay him.  He was dumfounded and said I had just told him I was going to MoneyGram, where they would only except cash BTW, and that this was a verbal affidavit and doing this would trigger him to send the local authorities immediately to my address.  Funny thing about that of course was that he had the wrong address.  I explained to him that he was plastered all over the internet as a scam artist and I explained that I just wanted to inform him the funds wouldn't be sent so that he could go and enjoy his lunch.  He then quickly told me that we no longer had anything to talk about, but now it was my turn.  Truthfully I have an uncle who is a local police detective and that I had informed him of this attempt to extort money from me and that he wanted to speak to him right away.  I didn't really call my uncle but it was enough to throw Leroy off his game.  He began to stammer uncontrollably and hysterically tried to explain that the local authorities had no jurisdiction or power over these cases.  This is minutes after he explained to me that the local authorities were the ones that were going to take me into custody and search my house.  Unfortunately we have no control over these perpetrators simply hanging up the phone which is what he did.  For the next day I called the number like a mad man but no pick up.  Finally he picked up today and I asked him if he had spoke with my detective uncle.  He said he attempted to call but nobody picked or called him back.  Funny thing is I never gave him a number or told him what division he was part of.  I then just laid into Leroy calling him all kinds of filth.  Not the most mature but I was seeing red and I truly just wanted to choke the life out of him.  That's my story.  I feel badly for anyone else who had to deal with this and really bad for the innocent folks whom actually sent money cause you know you will never be seeing that money again.  I hope Leroy gets his and that the DEA gets a hold of him arresting him and fining him an amount of money that will put him in a life time bind.  Good luck to all.

I just got this call and he really had me going until he expected me to moneygram the money and then he claims to send it to a place in the Dominican Republic.   Fortunately, I began to question him and he REALLY started with the threats.  So I told him they would just have to arrest me.  So far, no one.

Thank you everyone for the postings!  I got the exact same call from Leroy Solaman too.  He left me the scariest message about being a DEA agent and invesitgating online pharmacy sales.  I had no idea what was going on until I googled the number and found these comments.  I am going to call and report the incident to the DEA.  I still have the message on my phone.  Thanks again for your postings, I would still be freaking out about this had it not been for everyone's comments. :)

This is a scam.  This guy, Leroy Soloman, is claiming to be a DEA agent.  He accused me of ordering drugs online in 2007-2008, which I clearly did not. He harassed me and intimidated me and told me that I would be arrested within 35-45 minutes.  Ironically, the address he had and was supposedly dispatching his agents to was an address I have not lived at in 9 years.  He told me to hire an attorney immediately.  I haven't ever had any dealings with the DEA, but I seriously doubt that if they are coming after you, they give you a heads up that they're coming to get you.  I mean, what true criminal would just sit at their house and wait to be arrested.  Obviously, I'm innocent and sat at my home and no one came after me.  BTW, he told me he was tracing my call and had my current address and would have his agents sent there.  Needless to say, I calmly waited at my home and contacted the real DEA, who said this guy is operating an extortion scam.  If you receive a call from 301-637-6077, contact the DEA agent in charge of this investigation at 877-792-2873.  Do NOT send this guy money.

Hi,

I received a call this morning from this same guy claiming to be Leroy Soloman from phone # 301-637-6077.  He accused me of ordering drugs online in 2007-2008 from an address I have not lived at in 9 years.  He was very rude, intimidating and told me to get an attorney because he was sending his local agents to my address, the one I have not lived at in 9 years, to have me arrested within 35-45 minutes.  I'm not real familiar with how the DEA works, but I feel pretty certain that if they want you, they don't give you a heads up that they are on the way to arrest you.  I mean who would sit at their house and wait for agents to come pick them up if they were being accused of major crimes.  I was not scared to sit at my home because I'm innocent, but most of the people the DEA comes after are often times guilty.  I doubt they would hang out to be arrested.  I, too, called the the DEA in Washington, DC and spoke with a representative who told me this was an extortion scam.  She instruced me to call 877-792-2873 to speak to the agent in charge of this scam.  I did a reverse call phone look-up and this number is coming from a land line in Maryland.  I could not get an address or name, only that the phone is through L-3 communications.  This guy is crooked, when I called him back and told him he was a scam, he started calling me a "ho" and told me to "f---- off".  Report this guy immediately.  He is crazy.

I can not believe the nerve of this man, who calls himself DEA Agent Leroy Soloman, badge #AGE294! We received a call from him last night and listened to all his threat, including extriditing my husband to the Dominican Republic, which he further stated "is not a very nice place". Going along with his game we agreed to send $1874.00 by money gram for a window pick up to: Mr. Orlando Perez, 12508 S. E. Ocean Blvd., Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic. He even had the nerve to make a follow up call this morning, in which I informed him that We live in the United States of America and under our constitution we have the right to bear arms and to go ahead and send anyone he wants to my home. If you receive one of these phone calls please report it to the real DEA fraud number.

I got the exact same phone call yesterday morning.  also from a man who talked strange, and fast and mentioned the name Leroy soloman.   I actually called the number back and got a voice mail.  I have never ordered any medications from anyone online.   This man had my number but he didn't have my correct name.  my husband called the DEA's office in our state and they said it was a scam and to report it.
I used the 1-877-792-2873 number and left a detailed message about this. I hope everyone else does
too because they need to put a stop to this.

Just like to add that I would like to see this man get served papers and get arrested!!!

OMG! I Googled this phone number (301) 637-6077 just now and came up with this website! I just got a call from some person saying he is a DEA officer located in Washington DC. The guy was talking like he had a mouth full of chewing tabacco and he was saying I bought illegal drugs online and the DEA was going to serve me papers today saying I needed to get a attourney asap! He went on to say if I worked with them they would cut me a deal! I laughed at this guy who called him self Leroy Soloman and told him I've never even bought any medications online from anyone! So then he goes on to say that he had my information and address and would be coming out to serve me papers today!     SCAM ALERT!!!!!

I called the DEA and they said this is a scam to get you to send $ to get out of an arrest for something "bought" on line many years ago.  It is a total lie and they are committing a felony by impersonating a federal agent.  Write down the number and notify the DEA and local police.  Don't, repeat DON'T, send money and threaten to turn them in.  Don't answer future calls.  They often use a cell phone number to disguise themselves.

Got another call from this number.  A hurried male voice, claiming to be from the FBI and DEA office.   Man said this was an urgent call and that he was an enforcement agent.  Voice message was cut off so the reason for his call could not be heard.  Call has occurred a couple of times lately from different people.  Is there a way to stop these calls?  This is a cell phone and he is incurring expenses for us.  Man talked fast and in legalese so it was hard to understand his name but it was something like Lee...
