I also have contact with Lisa Brown.  I received a check for $2700. It was sent from an office in Washington,DC. by a Charles Luther.  I called the number on the fed ex envelope and got Mr Luther who said he didn't know what I was talking about and gets about 100 calls a week like that.  I then called the bank the check was written from.  The routing #was legit and legit account, a real estate company was the owner of account.  But not enough of money in account to cover check.  So, who are these other people--Mr Luther and the real estate firm owning the checking account and who is Lisa Brown?  I was advised to contact local police.  Any thoughts?

Got hit up with this scam on two different posts.  One used a different phone number, so it may actually be different scammers.  It ran like this:

When I responded that we didn't have a PayPal account but would accept cash or a registered bank check, I got a rude response in return.  BYE

Another used the name Sarro Klinsman, as reported in messages above.  "Sarro" first asked me to reply to his yahoo account using my personal email, not my Craigslist email.  When I refused, I got the following message in reply.

I was supposed to be in town for a business management seminar/meeting but it has been <cancelled already. I believe I can still go ahead and buy it right? I really need it for someone dear to me, a <distant cousin. I'll mail you an official bank certified check for the quoted price price. Any repairs will be on <me bearing the consequences of not seeing before buying. I'll be taking care of the <pickup/handling/shipping also. You do not have to worry about the shipping process and cost okay. I'll add <the shipping funds to the sale price and arrange for a delivery person afterwards to handle the pickup and <delivery including all shipping arrangements.Email me back with your fullname, address and your phone <number for the check and then we can proceed with the pick up and shipment. I received this email in response to a craigslist posting for furniture. I think it is a scam because when I googled the email address the scammer provided this website came up with other people's messages from the same scammer.

Hi, did anything ever happen with jessica? she's emailing me from the same address and asking for my paypal email but gave me her actual phone number (a Washington State area code).

I got the same email from the same loser.  People need to get jobs and stop preying on others.  This is why I hate Craigslist.

jessicaissanford1@gmail.com seems to be a fraud. I posted something in Craig's list and she wants Paypal information and is ambiguous about delivery, etc. I will be reporting her to the da, pd and Craigslist.
