call listing this as a local number and it is not a local number.  calls all day and part of the night.  very aggervating and I am tired of the calls.  I spoke with the law enforcement in our area and they said that the money sent to these people does not even support local law enforcement. It goes to heaven only knows.

They called and asked for the "lady" of the house. when I asked why they didnt answer so i hung up.

Just got called too.  Refused to send me something in the mail without committing to get my money, so sent them packing.

They have called 2 times this past weekend, once yesterday and asked for my ex husband...told the guy he has the wrong number.  Just called again Sunday at 7:30pm,  I just picked up the phone and hung it up.  I shows Local Call but definitely this is the Police Fund asking for donations...DO NOT DONATE
We have recieved these calls many times, with different names for Caller ID...using says Police Protection, now they are using Local Call.

call soliciting on behalf of police, also. We answered once & asked them to call back - they wouldn't
give up so we hung up. Immediately there was a call from another number. Forgot the caller id but
firmly believe this is a scam, as my wife heard on the news last night that if anyone calls saying they are from the police protection dep looking for donations they are fraud and should be reported.

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  It says Local Call 768-4302
