Received a similar call from "DEA" with similar content of investigation of selling and distributing drugs online over past 3-5 years from 301-825-5077 with callback request to extension 7225 on a Saturday morning, November 25, 2012. Reference was made to a LKNZ Pharmaceuticals, and initiator of the call had the name of the owner of the telephone prior to my obtaining the number. AT&T recycles numbers within 90 days.

I got a voice mail from the Brian Collier guy in Oct, 2011.  He said he was from the Maine Tast force of the DEA, FDA, something garbled, task force. Threw around a lot of badge numbers. He had an accent of some kind and didn't pronounce my last name (very common one) or town or zip code correctly.  Thank you for posting this!!

Got a call from sgt Collier. Knew be was a fake from the start. The DEA dosent call and tell you their going to serve a search warrant. Also they don't say their going to arrest you..they just do it. I called the DEA and they told me this guy has been around a while, they know who he is and their hot on his trail. That made me feel justice will prevail. They told me they will have him soon. Also said that he will get max time when they get him.

Justin, Becki and Kenny all work for the scam artist - (B)Ryan Collier who has committed suicide in February!  (No scam here- Right!)   I receive calls from 301-825-5012 or 5013 on the weekends only and when I answer it's a single tone (beep) and they hang up.  No one is ever there.

The DEA will never call you in advance of any action or ask you to pay sums of money via pay-pal or western union.  The only thing that I haven't figured out is how they get their phone to show the number of the DEA in Baltimore.  I always get a recorded message when I call that number back and I leave my number but no one ever calls back.  It's very curious how they do that.

I am so happy to have found this BLOG on DEA Scams.  When I got my first call from the half-wit who called himself Ryan Collier I was really upset and almost called a criminal defense attorney.  After settling down I called a a close friend who is a deputy sheriff who advised me that it. He said the DEA will never call you before they show up.  Demanding money over the phone via Western Union also gives it away.  The DEA will not take money over the phone to handle a fine.  They will send you to jail after "inspecting" your home and finding drugs in quantities that will appear to make you dealer.

Be wise about money over the phone for fines.  It doesn't happen that way.

Cindy,

The internet is full of information on Bryan (Ryan) Collier.  He is a scammer first class.  The DEA says he will be given a prison term for impersonating
a Federal Officer.  Do not send any money.  If they want you they will send folks to your home UNANNOUNCED!  Don't be part of the BIG LIE!!

Justin,

The DEA will NEVER call you in advance of a visit.  I spoke to an agent there on Friday about a call i got from Ryan Collier who threatened my life with Federal Prison.  They will not let you know they're coming.  If you sent them any money you were scammed.

Prank Call
After reading the DEA's special report on line, the Agent said the DEA will NEVER call you to say they're coming.  They do not advise potential felon's that they're on the way.  They merely SHOW UP at your door.  Anything else is just a scam.

I received a call from Agent Ryan Collier who gave me the phone number 301-825-5012 X 725.  He left a message on my cell phone- threatened me with 3 to 5 years in prison if I didn't return his call.  The number he left IS the DEA in Maryland but you cannot access an extension and no-one ever calls back after leaving a message for him.  I have done nothing wrong except to order ED drugs from an on-line pharmacy.

definitely sure these are scams. when my husband called the number back, the woman who answerede said she knew nothing of the conversation and apologized. she even changed her voice to sound sweet instead of 'official'.
they say that they are from the dea, but the msg is never clear. they just want to scare you and threaten to have you arrested unless you wire money via western union to someplace in santo domingo. give me a break.... i would never go there even if it was a 5 star resort.
what a racket!!! police cannot arrest you without physical evidence, even if these idiots get you to say something on the phone that will incriminate you. possession is 9/10 of the law. shame on these people. i don't know how they can sleep at night. they will get theirs. karma is a bi***.

got 2 calls . one from  301-825-5013 . the call came in as a urgent voicemail msg saying that there was a warrant for my arrest.
looked him up and found out it was a scam. got another call today from 202-224-1906 same msg. i was getting arrested. my husband called and the woman who answered said she knew nothing about this. these people are con artists . dont believe them. if you were really going to get arrested, you would not be told  that 'you were getting arrested'. the terminology would be different. i reported both to the police.

I just got a call from a 212-9945 without any message. Beware people, this is a fraudulent phone number. The callers removed their area code so that it would be harder to trace this phone number. If I get any more calls from this phone number, I will alert the FBI, the FTC, and file a complaint on IC3.

I too received a call today. Bad connection. He Hung up on me then called back. I toldhim my father was a prosecutor, he made a few more threats and abruptly said I have to call you back. He never did.
It was 7 pm Eastern time when I spoke to him. Of course it was a scare. Real or not.. he said I was a purchaser and consumer of medication from out of the country. I may have fallen for a scam to purchase from Florida, but the company took my money and won't take my calls. I know they didnt ship anything, because they are scammers. Lesson learned. I spoke with BRian Flier evidently with DEA, the man that hung up on me. Don't know what to think.

I've received several scam calls, but they usually occur when I am waiting for a pkg.  This was not the case & the caller sounded confident having 3-5 years worth of data - which is suspicous.  Caller ID'd himself as Brian Collier of the DEA,this was also a voice mail which is odd in the scam scene.   [calling from #301 325 8013.]  He gave me a different number to call back [the one under discussion.]  The reverse lookup showed the phone under the name of Jeffrey Levit and also M Clem

OK, this was a pretty good scam if I ever heard of one.  I, like many of you have ordered things from the internet like sleeping pills & viagra.  When I got the call from this number my heart started racing & I felt like a little boy who got caught doing something wrong..... you know the feeling.  After a couple minutes of racking my brain what this was about, I decided to google the number & began to laugh when I realized that the initial feeling was the one thing these scammers prey upon... our fear exposed & taken advantage of.

AFTER a few minutes, I got mad & finally decided to call the number back.... no one was going to grab me by the balls .... so I talked to the man on the phone & had a little fun in the process... after all, I wanted him to feel what I felt even if for a minute.... long story short, I asked a s**t load of questions & laughed at him with every thread he tried as he fumbled with threats & when he finally got so damn frustrated at the fearless a**hole (that would be me) on the other line, he cuzzed' at me and told me to f*** off..... LOL!!!!!

Got you f***er!....  A DEA agent would never linger on the phone & cuz' you out.... or search for petty threats while sounding pathetically uneducated.  By the end of the quid pro quo, I think he was more scared than I was initially since I told him I knew who he was & our agency was tracking him down.... LOL!!! Take that, a**hole!

DON'T give  these scammers even a minute of your time & fear moreover .... what they fear is an informed public who will not take their s**t.  BTW, haven't you all who've reaceived these notices or calls notice they ALL have broken English and an accent that would make Antonio Banderas or Penelope Cruz blush... LOL!!  GIVE EM' HELLL YOU GUYZ!!!!
