These people call me daily, multiple times a day. They leave no message, and it's simply a recording. The one time that I answered I got transfered to a human being and asked to be removed from their call list, as I am very happy with my current insurance provider.

They still call three to four times a day.

Also just got a missed call from them on my Google Voice number.  No message.  I live in MD.

Received a call and I answered "hello" and I waited for a hello or a person to answer and heard nothing. Just some breathing. I waited for a few seconds and I hung up.

Just moved to Maryland and got a new cell phone number.   Never got a robo call or telemarketer call in previous state. Now it's every day!  It's so annoying!   Thank you everyone for your postings.  I'm keeping track and will be writing to the FTC.

Just got a call from this number. Called back and it's a recording from an insurance company.

Got a call from this number in my cellphone but did not leave any message.

Actually, the recorded message says, "Hi this is Mary.  Auto insurance companies like Nationwide and Allstate are competing for your business because our auto insurance rates just went down.  Press 1 and I will give you a quote for new auto insurance right now."

These people just called me twice in my cell phone, but left no message.  I called back, and listened briefly to a recorded message that ended by saying, "Plus 1 for an auto insurance quote".  I am not in the market for new auto insurance, so I am not sure why I received this call.

I am furious.  I received a call on a Blackberry used for work purposes.  I called back and it was for auto insurance, and I and asked why I got this call.  The man who took my call was irritated, told me I would not get a call again, and hung up on me!!  What a jerk!! I did not even get a chance to give him the number of the Blackberry.  I called again and a nicer lady answered the phone who was more sympathetic.  I gave her the number that needed to be removed.  The calls are recorded, and I asked that someone review the conversation I had with the jerk.  I firmly explained to her that no one should treat anyone like that and she understood.  It may not do any good, but it felt good to call back and vent.

I just received a phone call from this number and called it back. It's something about auto insurance. Sounds like they're trying to sell you something. Just ignore it.
