I'm concerned because I remember reading online what seemed to be a valid news article about a Google offer for placing links. Although, I sounded too good to be true, they only wanted $1.97 for a kit to get started. Now, I guess I better check my card transactions online, to find out what else they used it for.

301-913-3700:  Did not answer, didn't recognize number.  Called it back, "sorry, this number is not in service."  I have been receiving calls from unidentified numbers (not in my contacts list) on my cell. How they are getting my #, I HAVE NO IDEA!!

Isn't this a violation of some FCC code? They can call you, but you can't call them back?!  This is BS!!!

RESOLVED ISSUE! THIS IS HILARIOUS AND I SUGGEST YOU USE THIS IF YOU ARE RECEIVING UNWANTED CALLS:
This time, I answered the call, caller asked for me by my first name. I faked speaking a foreign language, only using partial syllables of English words:
ME: "Hel"
CALLER: "Is (my first name) there?"
ME: "U stu id. Wha u wan. Di no gi u me num" (you stupid idiot. What you want. Did not give you me number).
CALLER: "I have no idea what you are saying. Goodbye"
Caller then hung up.  I'm sure my name and number were crossed off the list!

Yup, it must be related to the Google links thing cuz I signed up for it, then found out it is a scam ( read the fine print, they charge you $100 a month!)AND They ARE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH GOOGLE - what you are buying is a kit that tells you how you COULD make money putting links up! When I called to cancel, they offered me a 50% reduction. JUST SAY NO! and you have to call TWO numbers to cancel. I called both numbers so I best not be getting charged. But now I get the phone calls. Yeah, their ad says AS SEEN ON CNN b ut what they don;t tell you is CNN exposed them!

I just received a call from this number I too tried to call it back and was told not in order, check number on google, was bought to this web site, remembered that I did order this google deal for $1.97.  Instantly called in to report it to my credit card company.  This is a fraud, a scam.  Stop whatever transactions you have made quickly, I was told that you will be charged a monthly fee of $70 or more by this so called google biz scam.

PROBLEM: Receiving numerous calls from 301-913-3700 ON MY CELL! Did not answer, as number was not in my contact list. Called number back to identify caller. "Sorry, the number you have reached is not in service. Please check the number and dial again."

I have recieved 10 calls since Sept. 14th.  Today is only the 18th!  I do not answer them.  Unfortunately I fell for this scam.  A moment of weakness on an online offer.  5 minutes later I saw blogs about this scam and immediately called my credit card company.  They told me to talk to the Google Fortune so I did.  Tommy my contact their was going to make me make multiple calls to multiple places in order to cancel everything.  Mind you not more than ten minutes had past since my error in judgement in signing up.  I was firm with him and said I'd only signed up for one thing so he would assist me in canceling everything that was multiplied out of it.  He canceled two items and gave me these confirmation numbers: cac15030883 and cac15030884.  An incredible nightmare all because I let my guard down for one moment.  Google Fortune looks just like the Google icon.  How is this possible?  It can't be toletrated.  Is Google going after these guys?  How can they hide.  Where is the consumer protection?  Now I need to follow through and mkae sure they don't continue to rip me off.  Thinking of getting rid of my credit card all together.

I got a call today around 5 pm, and I told him I knew about the scam, google stuff, he hung up on me.....a***oles!!!!

I could not hear the other end. All I could make out was him asking for my name and I would tell him I couldnt hear him and he would hang up. he called back three times and the same thing happened.

Behind this number are the scam artist of the "Google money making business". They are not related or affiliated with Google. These scammers try to make you pay for information available for free from Google.
