Said Veterans Affairs.  He started by saying the call be recorded for quality control........ The ID says a VOIP number no name on id. If they were legit, why no name on caller id?

called back w/ *67.  they answered w/ a pitch for American veterans who are homeless and starving after defending our freedoms.  I asked if he worked directly for the foundation or was a paid telemarketer, he stalled saying yes.  after asking 3 times and pointing out that it was a simple question w/ an either or answer, he hung up.  he did thank me for calling when he answered.  I blocked the number after he hung up.

I got what was probably a scam call...hung up as soon as I saw caller id on my phone, even though I belong to national do not call list!  You can fill out an online complaint form at the Federal Commission Commission website....www.ffc.gov...and they'll investigate phishing people and hopefully shut down that number...good luck.

Wanna have fun with these people? dial *67 and their phone number and offer them the same ridiculous thing they are offering you.  Tell them you would like them to donate their blow up raft, canoo, big wheel etc. and listen to this guy lose his mind and get pissed off at you and warn you that you're being recorded...He says he's from the veterans.  I just like to screw with jerks like that who don't have a moral compass in their bones.

Called 4-25-2014.  My phone showed this number and unknown name, and no message was left.  Obviously, a junk call.  The "Do Not Call" list does absolutely no good!

No message. Calls my fax line. It does hang up once the beep stuff starts so I would suspect there is a human slime on the other end. From the caller id it is from everybody in the State of Maryland I guess.

When I see such calls, I know what they are so I just pick up the phone and then just hang up to get the phone to stop ringing. There is nothing I want to hear from them. It's useless to block the # since they just rotate them. Guess it's a fact of life.

Called home phone today today  at 2:00 pm hung up and left no message.

I didn't answer, no message left.  Caller ID said Maryland.  on 4/24 @ 5:55 pm in WA state

Got a call on April 24th.  Caller ID said Maryland call.

Calls constantly.  Had been calling from area code 202 (WA DC).  I've blocked the number and this caller switches to other area code 202 numbers and keeps calling. Now this caller has switched to this area code 301-920-1043 number in Silverspring, MD which is nearby.  When the answer machine picks up, it's always the same rude, annoying male voice saying "hello, hello, hello?"  Have seen this caller shown as some kind of Veterans scam and a spoofed number.  I really doubt any legitimate charity is so desperate that they would keep calling and switching phone numbers.  He can keep calling and I will keep blocking. So keep wasting your time, then again maybe you have nothing better to do.

Also didn't leave a message. We have Nomorobo which picks up these kind of calls after the first ring. Must be a new number for an old scam since it rang 4 times.
