My gatekeepers keep intercepting calls from "Ken". Sometimes "Ken" leaves his last name "Smith" (really?). He also let "SSI" slip once.
He typically says something like "It's Ken. Is he there?". He pretends he knows me.
From my gatekeeper:
"He was very short with me from the get go and difficult to get to the reason and nature of his call. He kept repeating ?It?s Ken is he there?? and was really rude..."
Presumably this guy is cold-calling to get us to buy sales training. I wonder if being rude and evasive to a CEO's gatekeeper is an effective selling strategy? Would Sandler Sales Institute teach my staff to make rude and evasive cold calls?
No thanks.
Has anyone else dealt with this guy's cold calls? What's his story?
