Just got my call from Stan offering to sell phone lists for the "Big 7" accounting firms. btw, there are only 4, Stan. Anyhow, similar tactics used above - called me unintelligent and accused me of doing business the hard way. I filed a complaint with the BBB and encourage anyone else contacted by Stan Grubman of Corporate Contacts in Maryland to do the same.

Stan Grubman is a information gathering parasite.

A deep voiced man called today asking for me to give him a list of qualified experts in employee screening for a law firm and  or jury screening.  He said he was an attorney looking to hire new associates.  I told him I don't do that, we work with attorneys in the area of forensics.  When I asked him his name , he refused to give his name and started criticizing typos on one of my websites.  

I'm not sure what is angle was but he was a defensive, rude, arrogant, and condensing little man.

I received a call today from this guy about an article I wrote years ago stating that university research showed graphology is junk science...Aside from the fact I have PhD in tests and measurements, he demanded that I call him back and defend my position..He was an ignorant jerk with an attitude..

Just received a hangup call from this number. Thanks for reporting your experience, everyone. I'll put a block on this call with a clear conscience. And yes, I'm on the Do Not Call list.

Just got my call from good ole Stan today. When I asked him what I could do to help him after 4 minutes of totally random and unrelated questions from him - he told me I wasn't very intelligent and hung up on me. To think I've been wondering all night until finding this site "what I did wrong". What a tool!  I'll be setting our ShoreTel server to start making calls his way nightly every 7 minutes or so from about 9:30pm through 6am.

While Stan may be a kook, he gets great information that it's hard to get anywhere else!

Yeah this guy named STAN calls me once a week selling his crappy lists.  I tell him I don't use those lists and he tries to tell me how to run my business and that I'm doing it the wrong way!  Pathetic loser hangs up when you try to ask him to take you off your list.  I call him back and the coward let's it roll to voicemail.  He needs to be stopped!

Amazing that so many would complain about this sad little man. He called and said "do you do a lot of recruiting from the Big 4 firms" I said "yes actually, why?" he asked if I used directories i said "no" and said "why do you like doing things the hard way man" I said "I don't actually, what is the solution?" and then he hung up.

I tried to call him back to tweak him but no answer.

I can't imaging that he has ever sold anything to anyone, anytime.

Wow, while I've never done this, and by this I mean looking up a telephone number, I'm really glad that I did.

I can only agree 100% with the other posts. This guy, Stan is extremely unprofessional and rude. Even if, I opted to do business with him, he does not sound like someone that can be trusted. This is a guy that will sell you a directory, then sell someone your own employee directory just to make a few dollars. Guys like him will never be successful, simply because they have to re-invent the wheel every day, since he likely does not receive any referral business.

This person is extremely rude, unprofessional and a menace to corporate America.  Would the appropriate government agency please shut this guy down for harrassment.

Just got the call from Stan, he was unclear about his services, and when I started asking him questions he called me stupid and said I didn't deserve what he was offering.  It was the 301-956-6706 phone number.  He's not that bright of a guy and he is very rude.

This is guy is a total a-hole, he's been using the same tactics for years and years, insults you when you tell him you don't buy corporate rosters, asks you "so, you like to do your job the hard way, huh?" when you, again, tell him no.

Battled with him a few years ago, finally seemed like he went away - but lo and behold there was a voicemail from him recently, this time leaving his number and website.

Total, unprofessional, a$$hole.

My company received a very similar call.. he insulted our recpeptionist and then when we emailed him to complain we got this as a response:

WHAT AN @SSHOLE! This man called and impersonated a client to get to a sr. official/ manager here. When he didn't get someone live he called back only to insult me insinuating that I don't know who I work for and or don't know what I'm doing at my company. I transferred him directly to voicemail but deleted his message as soon as I read these comments and found out he's nothing but a useless, worthless waste of life!

This same individual has called me several times. He's cagey about giving his name, but eventually I did get it out of him. When I told him I had no interest, he called me a "cheapskate" and then implied I was a "Sand Ni^%er". It's very sad that this is the way someone lives their life this way. Avoid Stan Grubman at all costs. He's a mean, racist individual.

I had a call from this guy today - incredibly rude. He wanted to know where he could get corporate directories. I told him I was not in that business. He started yelling at me and I hung up on him with a a not too nice "goodbye." He did not call back...

What a jerk...

He did the exact same thing to us. I suggest reporting this man and company to the better business bureau as I did.

Stan Grubman is a horrible person and should not be in any business that involves human communication.

This is a new phone number for the same rude telemarketer as described for the 301-587-1819 - Stan Grubman from Corporate Contacts selling corporate phone directories.

When told that you are not interested in purchasing any directories, he insults the company you work for and whoever answers the phone. He asks questions like is the company and owner was too cheap? If you hang up on him he proceeds to call back and insult the intelligence of the person answering the phone.  

I find it pretty ironic; If Mr. Smarty-pants is so smart, why didn't he block his phone number?
