Automated tele-spammer to my cell phone. I did not recognize the number so I did not answer. It left a message on my voicemail. Claim to be selling auto warranty (a scam)... This is your final notice (no, they just keep calling)... Press 2 to be removed (no, they never honor removal requests)... Press 1 to speak with a representative (dont believe anything they say).

Just got a call from this number (9:22 pm in TX). It's a recording saying this my "final notice" that my car warranty is going to expire, blah blah.

Just got a call from this number (10:30 AM - EST). Don't know the #, didn't pick it up. Didn't leave a message. Scumbags.

I get the same message as everyone else here - Final notice about my car warranty.  EVERY DAY I get this message.  I don't answer since I don't know the number, but the message is ALWAYS the same.

yup, just got this call on my cell and it was the same spambot that other people have complained about.

I just got a call from this number.  I didn't answer b/c I didn't recognize it.  I returned the call from my office and all I got was a message that said, "The number you have reached is not in service.  This is a recording...The number you have reached is not in service.  This is a recording..."   How ANNOYING!!!  How can we make them stop!

Warranty Scam Artists

You try to call them back on the same line regarding the "Warranty Policy" they typically don't answer the phone; however, once you reach them after a million rings, they tell you to call your dealer regarding your warranty.  It appears they go by "Preferred Dealer Warranties" and change their number periodically.  

At first they act as if they are your current warranty company seeking to "Extend your vehicles warranty," for a small fee.  They play the song and dance of you being slightly over (or just under) eligibility to renew, they ask you a few questions on the condition of the car to make it seem legit, and then a manager comes on the line to take your file "out of lock-out" since you're so close to the 'warranty expiration.'  What seems to amaze me is that they don't even know what type of car you own, and they don't know your name and/or address... I mean I guess they paid the dealer for a cheap marketing list; because, typically such a report would contain that info.

When you call the dealer, they typically tell you that they don't handle your car's warranty directly and they go through a company.  They overplay on that and make it seem like they're 'that' company.  

I kept the guy on the line, 'googled' his phone number and the name of the company, and told him to take down his Ripoff Report number...  He started stuttering.  

Oh yeah, and beware of the fake website he gives you and the blog entries they themselves posted on some sites in case you try to google them.  The sites are all as bogus as the entries.  If they're selling you a warranty, then that's one thing; but, they're not, they're making believe they're your current warranty company seeking to 'renew' your currently expired or expiring warranty.  Keep that in mind; because, if you call them out on it and they start telling you how great their service is; keep in mind that they just tried to rip you off into 'renewing' a contract that you never signed with them.

just got one of these calls. (11/06/07 9:55am)  didnt recognize the number or area code so i looked it up on internet and know i now.  I got one of these calls just last week as well.  it is getting ridiculous.

I got one too from this number - so annoying..... These have been happening more and more lately.

I dont even have a car and I recieve these calls. I'm not sure how I'm on the list but I'd love to find a way to get off it!

I get a call weekly saying my vehicle warranty is about to expire. I DO NOT OWN A VEHICLE, nor have I ever purchased a new vehicle with a warranty. BEWARE: could be a phishing expedition!

I have received this call over 15 times.  They will talk to both your actual voice if you answer or leave a voicemail.  In an effort to get them to stop calling, I called back and was on hold for over 5 minutes at which point, I decided it was a total scam.  Watch out, there are multiple numbers they will call from.  I will list them as they will surely continue to call.

When I immediately asked for a company name and repeated it as if I were making a note of it, he hung up on me.  They know we are on to them and now they just hang up until they get a sucker on the line.

What really bugs me is the recorded voice is so sassy.  The tone of her voice is really assertive and brusk.

We have received these messages for months. I usually hang up or do not answer, but a few days ago I pressed 2...doesn't matter, I got another call today. I am so sick of these people. My car doesn't even have a warranty!

regarding to the warranty of my car, they call and call and call I'm sick of that, if you press one to talk to them they hang up on me. Please they call my cell, my home, my husband cell, really we are really tired.

This F*ker kept calling me all week on my cell phone about my car's warranty, knowing damn well I don't have warranty on my car. I hung up the phone because with verizon if you answer that chews up 1 min to hear useless sh*t. So not even an hr later, me and my fiance were watching tv and her phone went off with the same damn thing. "Your warranty is about to expire". The frig is wrong with telemarketing A**les? I googled this number and came across this message board. Somebody needs to report this as abuse and somebody or some people need to be choked to death... Just saying, a knee to the windpipe goes a long way, its annoying as hell to be woken up at 4am by telemarketers.

this number called me at 943am est today november 6th 2008 on my CELL PHONE no less i was sleeping at the time b/c i work nights and thankfully it didnt wake me up but had this phone call did lets just say i would be extremely upset

I got a call from them and they don't have a voice-mail or anything...

Called my cell phone at 1.14pm EST today.  No message left, but they let the call go to voice mail before hanging up.

They just called my cell after repeatedly calling me at work number. Somebody make them stop. And when I asked them to stop calling me, they just hang up the phone. What an a***ole!!!!
