I just received a call from the number 302-282-3000 for the first time today and it was from Chase Card Services.  I've recently opened an account with them but don't know why they would be calling.

I got a call and a bunch of text from these people. They won't stop calling me. I am only 12. I don't know what to do.

Received a call from 302-282-3000.  It was a message from Chase and states that "if this was an actual emergency, you would hear additional information.  Please call 888-667-4911, Enter 929996923 to confirm receipt of this call."  Yeah right.

Got several calls from this number as early as 7am and no messages left.

I spoke to a recruiter at Chase for a position in Wilmington, DE at this number.

New Chase employee here. I just got a test call from this number, and it's an internal service used by Chase in case of emergencies. If you know someone who works for the bank, you're probably an emergency contact, and the calls are likely verifying your number. Just press 1 when you get to the menu, and it won't dial again unless there is an emergency.

Calm down, everyone. This is not a scam. It is the number for Chase in Wilmington, DE. My husband works in the credit card division there and when he calls me from work this is the number that shows up on caller ID.

I got a call from this number saying it's from Chase.  I gave my home address,email and cell phone. Later, when I called Chase customer care, I learnt the call was a scam.

I just called the number (302.282.3000) back and it was associated with Chase Bank.  They do give you the option to not have your number called, but since I am a customer with Chase Bank I would actually like them to be able to call me.

I then got an email from Chase about a credit card charge dispute and the same name, Cesar, showed up on the message associated with my chase account.

My conclusion: this number is legit and Chase was trying to contact me.  Its never a bad idea to be cautios and to never give any of your information over the phone if you don't want to, but sometimes banks do need to contact you.

I got a call from this number at 5:50am this morning.  The caller said his name was Cesar and that he was calling from Chase Bank.  It sounded like he had an Indian accent.  In his voice message he said to call back at 888.489.8452.  
It sounded sketch, but I haven't followed up on either of these numbers or with Chase Bank yet to verify them.

I have gotten 2 calls from this number and called the number on my Chase card. They had no idea or reason why anyone would be calling.

This is a ligit  Chase Number. If you filed to dispute charges on your account that's who's calling you back. No biggie.

Funny -I got a call - said they were from the HR Department at Chase and wanted me to answer questions, like "do I have a degree in computer science or information technology?" (yes I am looking for a job; yes I did apply several times).  They said the position was for a BA position.  Sounded ok - but know people in HR, and when I brought up a name - she said he was a "temp" which was incorrect.  Why would they call me and ask about a "job" whose questions were directly taken from the job application? Yes - I do have a credit card with them....this would be their concern..?  Maybe to see if I have the correct phone number so the "collectors" can keep on harassing me. Also - could have been a Collection Agency seeing if the number they are trying to call me is correct - since I don't pick up the phone.  THIS DOES NOT HAVE TO BE CHASE like previous comments; - but it can be "affiliated" some how with CHASE. Collections Agencies are oftentimes contracted out, and do not have to be part of the internal structure of the organization.

This is a phishing scam, they are trying to find people with Chase credit cards and scare them into giving them your credit card and social security numbers.  If you are worried about it, call the valid number on the back of your credit card.

Its Chase, call and you find that out. I haven't paid my bill

Called tonight at 7:30PM. Nobody there. Caler ID had "UNKNOWN" but had the number

THIS IS CHASE BANK CREDIT CARD CALLING.  I RECENTLY MADE A SOFTWARE PURCHASE ON LINE AND THE COMPANY OFFERED A $30 CREDIT IF I USED THE CREDIT CARD THEY WERE PUSHING.  I SAID OK.  ABOUT TEN DAYS LATER I GOT THE CREDIT CARD AND IT WAS CHASE.  THEY CALLED ME LATER TO OFFER OTHER ADD ONS. THE NUMBER :

I get calls from this number constantly.  As I have caller ID, I don't pick up.  They even call me on Saturday's and Sunday's! They just called me today, July 1, 2007 at 12:52 p.m.  You'd think they would give it a rest.  After all the times they call and me never picking up, you would think they would give up calling, but to no avail, they keep coming.  I'm sick of these!!!

Hi there, I got a call from the same number and Chase said it was real, they had it verified in their system too

I believe that these people should be hunted down and eliminated.

This number calls me a couple times per day.  If answered, immediately hangs up.  If not, no message is left.

Same here.  I get a call almost every day showing up on my caller ID.  No message left on voicemail....

I got multiple calls every day from this number since the beginning of Nov. I did not answer, but they did not leave a message and kept calling.

Has called around 10 times over the last couple of weeks.  I don't answer, they don't leave voicemail.

i get calls from this number constantly.  they call every day, but i don't pick it up and they hang on the voice mail without saying anything.  it's annoying.

My wife got this call today, she say form Chase, my wife transfer this call to me, but I don't think this from Chase, because she ask my wife go to bank and sent payment right away. I hope these people go to hell and die FxxK!!!
