This number calls me daily but when I answer, there is never anyone at the other end.  If I ever get anyone on the line, I have an air horn waiting for them!

These are resellers of AT&T Phone services.
When you get too specific with them they stumble.
When you call them back, they never answer.

WOW-if you had a problem with your phone service what would you do since No One EVER answers the phone.

They said, Burris or Birch communications or something like that.
First - tell them you are on the Do-Not-Call list and ask them why they have decided to violate that request and how can you trust a company that would do that.

The best way to get them off the phone is to ask them their name, company name, address, relationship to AT&T and a  phone number to call them right back at. Ask why no one ever ansers the main number. Have fun.

I get calls for 302-331-2969 at least once and sometimes twice a day. Like the other posts, they say they are from AT&T but they are not. Sometimes I talk to them and request them to stop calling but other times there is not anyone on the other line.

Called and asked for the person who handles the AT&T account.  We get 3-5 calls a week asking the same question(do not call list is a joke)...I hung up.  Called another one of our business lines...said yep same guy and told me that my AT&T phone service would be shut down in 13 minutes.  I said why and he said you hung up on me, now its my turn and hung up.  Of course my service was never interrupted.  I called the number and they did not have the balls to pick up.

I have the same problem with this number.  Please, go to the FCC website and file a complaint.  It will take about two minutes to fill out the form.  If we all do this, the FCC will make them stop.......I hope!

Same here.  I don't get any response when I answer calls from this number.  It is annoying to drop what I'm doing to grab the phone and get dead air in my ear.  Sometimes it clicks a couple  times then I get dial tone.  My next step is going to the FCC website and filing a formal complaint.  If all of us would do that, it might make a difference.

These people call every day. I usually do not answer but today I was feeling it so I answered. He asked for whoever handles my AT&T account. I replied "Nobody. Don't call me again" He replied "Hey, hey hey don't you dare hang up on me!" I said I am not interested in anything you have to say to which he replied " You will be interested when we pull your AT&T line down" That was the last thing I heard as I was hanging up.
I have used call block on this number yet it still gets through some how.

These people have been calling my house for weeks.  I finally answered and the guy said he was with AT&T and wanted to save me money on my bill.  Ironically I had talked to AT&T last week and they did reduce my bill to save me money.  I had heard about these people trying to make you think they are with AT&T and then get you hooked up with another phone company.  I told him not to call me again and he said it was apparent I was mad and that he would wait and call me back in 2 hours after I had cooled off.  I told him to kiss my %^$* and hung up.  I was hoping he would call back.

Jerks.

The guy identified himself as an AT&T rep. Only towards the end of the conversation did Birch
Communications come up. I ended the conversation by informing him that, by mis-representing who
he really worked for, he had put a kabash with me as to the call's trustworthiness. I asked that he
put my number on their "do not call" list. No reply....he simply hung up.

303-331-2969 calls my office work number once or twice a day and all times but one when I've actually picked up, there has been silence.  They're obviously using the multiple dialing and only answering one call that picks up.   Once, I got a guy asking to speak with the person who manages the AT&T account.   I told him I didn't have an AT&T account and this was not the right number to call about that.   They still call once or twice a day with the silence.

I also am having harassing calls - the person said they were with Birch Communications - I reported them to the Do No Call Registry - and called the 1-800 number for Birch Communications and reported the harassment.  They call here several times a week - also asking if you use AT&T - and then ask to speak to the person who deals with AT&T.  I am also going to report this to AT&T.

Called my office today and said they were the Burris Company that managed my AT&T account and wanted to speak with me about next month's bill. I told him that they did not manage my account. He started saying "Yes we do, Yes we do." over and over. Then hung up on me. My office manager that answered the call initially said when she answered they were laughing.

This person calls my store 3 to 4 times a week asking to speak with the AT&T holder. THEY ARE NOT WITH AT&T!!!! they just told me i was rude for saying i didnt have time to deal with tellamarketers.

He seemed irritated because I refused to transfer his "soliciting" call to the owner.  After babbling on about how small companies are going out of business because of AT&T bills, he apologized for sounding rude and proceeded to hung up in my ear.

The number 302-331-2969 came up on our business caller id.  When I answered it, there was no response.  While I was asking who this was... as I knew there was someone still on the other end, I looked up the number.  Finally, a man responded that he wanted to save me money on my AT&T Bill.  This happened before and then someone had changed our AT&T Business Service.  We were unable to forward our phones to the answering service and this is how we caught it. These people will mess with your phone service.  BEWARE!  Make sure that your service has not been touched. It can be a mess to fix.

Just talked to AT & T who states the 302-33-12969 is a 3rd party company and they receive calls every day complaining about the rude people who are switching their services adn stating they are AT & T.  I have reported to Attorney General Office and you should too.

Having the same problem. I think I may have had the same guy you did.  He called every line on my account repeatedly for over an hour.  I could see from the caller id it was him so I would pick up and hang up but he continued to call.  So, I left that line off the hook and when I did, he began calling the other lines on my account.  Go Away!!

These jerks called and I answered and said hello twice.  Twice is enough.  I hung up.  Then I picked back up to do *69.  The guy was on the phone and said Hello.  I hung up on him.  They call here all the time.  I'm in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

I received a call from this number twice in 10 min. The first time was a young woman and she was nice enough when I enformed her that the AT&T customer was not available. The second call was from a very rude young man. When he asked fir the AT&T customer at this residence (we are a business) I said, "I'm sorry but I just received this call a few..." when he inturepted with "Whatever." and hung up. What can be done about these incredibly rude calls?!?!
