This number belongs to the Carman Auto Group in New Castle, DE. If you used an online auto search for a price quote and are withing 50 or so miles of New Castle, they could be calling to sell you a car.

I just got a call from this number and it was the Admissions Secretary at Wilmington University.

i recieved two calls from this number at 912 and 945 this morning i called back at 1140 and no answer as like everyone else got...the number called back about ten min later (as im on this website) and asked me if i think its funny tryin to find out where they are!!! im like excuse me and they said i no u are lookin at comments about the ppl gettin this call...F*&KED UP!! however yesterday i did fill out some college grants and loans but they were all thru fin aid and fafsa..a gov program?? so idk...im def reportin this

Same for me. A man asked to talk to my daughter.... she's 8yo...

I didn't answer first call today (12-28-09) but answered two other calls later in same day...first time answered no one said anything, second time I answered again no one said anything, so I said "is anyone there" "speak if you have the nerve" and hung up when no one said anything....now at 7:35 p.m. tonight my husband answers phone from same # and they want to talk to me....I told him to ask who was calling...they didn't answer him and hung up!
Why do people have to act like that, so not called for!

they called me twice today. found this site and realized it was because i filled out a profile on careersandcolleges.com. changed all my personal information on the site and filled out a request to delete my profile. hope it works.

This number has been calling me since yesterday. I have answered twice, first I didn't hear anything, then the second time I heard voices, but then they hung up. I tried to call back, but got the same ending; voice mail was full. Who ever this is, they need to stop.. Very annoying.

I got a call from 302-356-0543 at 11:28 am EST  12/30/09 and the guy ask for me by name and said DO YOU WANT A JOB? ISAID NO, AND HE HUNG UP! I tried to call back and it said mail box was full!! SOMEONE NEEDS TO STOP THIS STUFF FROM HAPPING!!!HOW!!!

Same thing 3 calls ... Called back voice mail full.

I got the same call this morning and it was about attending a college and a scholarship.  I don't know why the government don't put a stop to such kind of scams and have harsh penalty to whoever is doing this.

I never answer numbers I don't recognize and luckily my cell shows me the county and state the caller is calling from and I know no one from New Castle, DE. from what I have read from others its about scholorships and what not.... I havent filled out anything about scholorships but they are annoying and are going to have a lot of issues if they don't stop harassing my cell.

Does anyone on here have a facebook account?  If so have you been getting errors on it?  I started getting these calls around the same time my facebook stopped letting me log in.

my calls started 1/2 at 10:35am; 3:47pm i called back 3:48pm (mailbox full). they called back again 2:27pm and just sat on the phone not speaking - i called right back (mailbox full). I have not applied for any loans etc. i started receiving emails 12/29 trying to get me to apply for a loan (XPRESS LOANS) and 1/1 from "Ruben Hawkins".  the only place i have been is facebook (i downloaded personal pics to my profile and selected "like" on a cowboys jersey.... anyone else do the same????????

Got a call from this number this morning (Jan. 5, 2010).  They knew my name and said that I had requested some information about Scholarship information.  I stated that I DID NOT request any information at all about anything.  They would not give me any information about who they were and how they got my information.  Tried to call the number back and I got the same responce as others, mail box full.

i just received 4 calls from them today and no one would answer on the other line. i too signed up for career&colleges website to search info about grad schools since i am a senior in college but never expected to have this annoyance!

got call this am asking for my daughter. Foriegn voice unprofessional when told daughter was not available hung up with no message .

They have been calling non-stop since yesterday (Jan 13).  I am quite sure that this is from the same site everyone else mentioned...I filled out some information on careersandcolleges.com in the hope of finding some adult education grant funds to pay for classes.  They keep calling and don't leave messages.  I will definitely be reporting that website.

i too received two calls today hours apart when i answered the first time i got nothing...dead silent..the last call i got i did not answer let the machine answer no message left...i called it back and told me the number had been disconnected because it is involved in a scam...

Katie called from "University Finders" knew my name. I'm 55 year old man with two degrees not looking for a school how did this person get my name and unlisted number?

I get call from this number twice a week.  The call always hangs up almost exactly 3 seconds after I say something.  The call seems automated. I'm not sure what the agenda is.

I got a call from 1(302)356-0543 today and when she called she asked me about some ON LINE school and what exactly did I want to do on line continue my education or start my education on line?  I told her " I dont know WHAT you are talking about!" and she just hung up no sorry wrong number nothing just a hang up I think this is a telemarkertor that is trying to find out when people are home and not.

I've missed calls from this number, answered them to nobody there, and tried calling back only to get a full mailbox. I have an iPhone with AT&T and to be able to block any numbers it is a fee of $4.99...not sure if that is a one-time fee or a monthly fee, but either way I'm going to take my chances. Really annoying, especially since I'm on the do-not-call list.
