This company is breaking the law by failing to provide a real phone number and giving a fake name. It is a real company. You are entitled to $1500 per call through your Attorney General's Office. Pretend to be interested then ask for a phone number you can call to prove the company is legit. This proof will help your case. Then file with the FCC and the FTC. The company is:

I receive several free electrical engineering magazines, so I think this number is associated with updating information for those subscriptions.  Still annoying though.

I've gotten several calls every day this week from this number. It always hangs up when I answer. This is my work phone, so I have to answer it. Very annoying!!

over 30 calls in the last few weeks, shut these fools down already!

They keep calling to my phone many times a day. I have no idea what they want and what they need from me. They keep bother me days and nights.

They called our shop, and the man was barley able to speak English, and asked for the owner.  After telling them we were not interested we told them to remove us from their call lists we hung up expecting it to be the end of it.   Then 45 minutes later they called again this time a woman who asked the same info.  She again was told  we were not interested in their services and to remove us from their call list and that they had just called 45 minutes before.  

DONT TRUST THEM!!!!!!!  It is a scam business front asking for basic info so they can collect and then sell off the info to other that wont stop as well.

This is a telemarketer with a very thick foreign accent. They called our office on Monday, and again today (Wednesday) asking for the owner of our company by name. They want to verify her contact information so she can start receiving her free subscription.... yah blah blah blah. I tell them to remove us from their calling list, and they tell me that she is a qualified subscriber, and I tell them again that they need to remove us from their calling list immediately and they hang up.

This is a wrong number.  Probably a telemarketer of some kind.  i just don't answer the phone when it shows up as this number.

Filed a complaint with the FTC National Do Not Call Registry as my number is on that, and they the 302-394-9647 # have called daily for several days with similar experiences as prior posts.

On my Ignore List! Used to call our office constantly. Can't remember what the shill was, but it's a telemarketer, rest assured.

They called while I was on another cal. By the time I switched to them they had hung up.

They call daily and never leave a message.  I have not bothered to call back.

Just about every day for the last 3 weeks, this phone number has called me. I tried to pick up the phone, but no one was on the other line. When I called back, an automated message stated that they are calling about a publication that I am receiving or that I am eligible to receive and that they want to be in compliance with all state laws. I order to get off their call list, I was to leave my name and phone number, so that they could remove within 24 business hours.
 I left my first name and phone number, but now wander what they are going to do with it.

Quick call/hang-up - multiple times

I work at FTC, and they have been calling my desk phone asking for a specific person who no longer works here.

I informed them of as much, whom they were actually calling, and asked them to remove the number. We'll see.

In the mean time, I recommend everyone add their number to the National Do Not Call Registry, which will filter out most telemarketer calls.

I receive this call frequently, they hang up and when I call back their recording says that the call is in reference to a publication that I receive or am eleigble to receive.

There must be some reason they would do this.  Does anyone have an idea why?

Call at work. Ignored.

This caller resumed calling me again a few days ago, after a long hiatus. I checked here, then ignored it until today, when they called me just about every two hours until I finally answered. An Indian with a very thick accent told me that they were "verifying mailing address for free security publication." I told them that I had no interest in receiving any publications, and he replied, "But this is free publication. You do not have to pay anything." I told him to stop calling me or I would report them, then hung up.

Have gotten several hang-up calls from this number now.

This person calls every day.  I call back and no one answers.  Recording says they are calling on behalf of a free publication I am receiving or am eligible to receive.  The recorded message says if you received in error, leave name and company name and number to be removed.  It would take a few days.  But, you can't leave message!!! Their voice mail is full.  Imagine that.  I hate them too. When I find out who they are I will make sure to warn everyone about them.  They don't leave a message but their hangups on my VM will leave a one second message which I have to spend 15 seconds to remove or the light keeps flashing and I can't see who calls me after that on my phone. They are very annoying.

I received a call from this number on behalf a free publication we received or are eligible to receive. They say it is a Customer Care Center and if you want your number to be removed you must enter it and wait 24 hours.   I dont trust to put my number there, it seems like it will be a confirmation for them that indeed my number is working.
