Is there any way to verify the source of the number or how did you find it, I work for a large shipping company in Detroit, with over 600 employees, We had the same problem at work, they jammed our phone lines for over 3 hrs, they even start calling us using our phone numbers so we had to shutdown our operation for the rest of the day. our local PD was called and one of the officers answered the phone, I saw your post on here and we're trying to pass the number to our local police department and the FBI office.

It's ridiculous and almost as if this person has nothing better to do than call and harass our employees.  Our company is being punished because the caller is tying up all the phone lines.  How rude and unprofessional!!

These disgusting individuals are calling the company I work for as a switchboard operator up to 30 to 40 times a day targeting one employee that has been with the company for many, many years. She is an incredible, lovely individual and an upstanding citizen and employee. They are rude, they shout, they threaten. In my 17 years working here I have never experienced such complete insanity. Obviously they are scamming, but they are also flooding a busy switchboard that covers 5 states in which we do business. Our caller ID shows no number to track so that we can block them. Still... I'm researching other means.  I am a professional operator, but I'm about ready to reach through my headset and strangle the buggers for causing such havoc and nonsense with my job and the security of my fellow employees. Another poster wrote this number below as the originating call center. They can change these easily, but perhaps it's worth attempting a block. I've decided if they want to rant scream and threaten the switchboard operator, I'll just put them on hold and go on to the next call. They can determine if they like our hold music. This is the number one posters claims they are calling from. Report what you can and perhaps we can shake them up.
This is the real number they are calling from. +91-987-960-6602 this is a India number.

I have received over 30 phone calls or more in 2 days at our place of work.  I asked the gentleman named Mr. Walker to please stop calling and he refused.  He was extremely rude and very demanding.  It wasn't until I told him that I was looking up the phone number on the internet so that I could report him.  While he was on the phone I read the information to Mr. Walker and he hung up the phone.  I have not received a call in the past 30 minutes, so hopefully he stops calling.  I hope this fool gets caught.

I just received a call from a Roger stating that there was some legal action going to be taken and I have no clue as to what he was talking about. Harassing me at work. Also for some thin way bake from 2010. He didn't give the exact name of the company just that there was a legal matter. I asked for documents and he said he couldn't give me any even a fax.

Caller claims to be a Kevin Brown from Cash Advance America investigations department, yet speaks with a high middle eastern accent. They claim I took a cash advance for $450 back in 2010, yet can not provide me any actual company name, nor any specific date of deposit. I asked for a confirmation of debt email, or via postal mail and he refuses saying they already have (I've never received any), and I've went through all of my bank statements for 2010 and there are NO deposits for that amount, or via that company. They are calling my work 50+ times daily, despite being told not not to dozens of times. I called them back once from my home number even and they do not call home, only work. The local police tried telling them to stop and they stopped for a few hours and that was it. The police are claiming that since it "appears" to be a valid debt collection there is nothing they can do as they are not harrassing or threatening. I've already opened up all of the web complaints that I can via:

The same people called me, but claimed his name was Kevin Brown. They said I borrowed $450 also back in 2010. They claim it was from Cash Advance America (parent company), but won't give me the name of the child company it "could have been from". They refuse to mail me anything claiming they already a have. They also won't give me the exact deposit date, claiming he doesn't have it. I've never dealt with that company, and never received any advance for that amount at all in 2010 (verified with online bank statements). They are calling my employer literally 50+ times a day! even back to back! Thankfully they aren't calling my house or cell. I did try calling them back to get it to stop, and he is refusing to give me any information, won't listen to reason and continued to call my work immediately afterwards even when he's been told by myself and everyone at work to stop calling. They are relentless, hoping you will pay them anyway to stop if nothing else....

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010  FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

These people claimed I had a cash advance with them back in 2010. I asked for supporting documents to prove that I received this money and they said they couldn't send it to me because my account is under investigation. They wouldn't mail any paperwork until after I paid the $450 they claim I borrowed. The person's name was Paul Walker, but he spoke with a foreign accent. I believe they stole this information from me because they had my social security number, my bank information, my email address and an old mailing address. I've never done business with this company. They had an old phone number on my job and they call day.
