They called my phone too.. me being from this area code, and knowing I didn't do any surveys either. who ever it is needs to be reported i think my husband got a call a month ago saying the same. Someone must have hacked into a list of numbers from verizon.

Just received the call as well. Did not answer. Called back after I read the posts above. It answered automatically as "WN positions" or something like it. The message said "we are a leading career staffing agency and had completed a survery online".. Obviously, as with the others above, I completed no survey. The message further claims that if we type in our number, we will not get another call, which, again, I did not.. To me, that is just a confirmation for them, that my number is real and they will sell it out again to others.

They called me and it was a real person and said they I responded saying I filled out a survey saying I was interested in applying for a job. I said I didn't remember doing it and they hung up right away. Interesting that the number they called was my work phone.

I was called by them and when I called back, they said I was looking for job positions. I'm enlisted in the US Navy and have no wish to seek other employment. I'm going to be reporting this number.

Same as above, I received several calls from this person and I did not answer, but I called back and was told I had completed a survey and was looking for a job. I never completed any survey and I have had the same job for 24 years. Scammer

This number called as W N Divisions, claiming that I filled out an online survey. When I spoke to a rep, a man, he kept trying to get back to a scripted questioning of information they should have already had. When I asked what name he had in front of his, he said "Good bye!" and hung up.

We should not have to pay to find out who called our private phone! Is this a way to get people to pay and sign up for this information? I have my phones listed on the DNC and still get unwanted calls. Frustrated!

Pretty much same as above. Guy called from this number saying I had filled out a survey but then wanted all sorts of information. He got to "what is your first and last name" and I said, if I had filled out a survey that required my phone number, which you already have, then I would have provided my name as well. Very persistant and very annoying.

Called my cell-phone, so the only display it showed was the number they were calling from. I answered (thinking it was a local call) and called asked about my recent on-line survey that I completed. I asked him "what survey" - I didn't recall any that I had done - and told him he was calling a private cell phone. He said the survey indicated that I was interested in finding a job. I knew it was bogus at that point since: a) I know I didn't do any on-line survey recently, and b) I've had a steady job for the last 10+ years.
Told him was interested and to put my # on the DNC list. Probably won't do any good since my cell# is already registered on the Federal DNC list already.

When I answered my cellphone, the caller hung up. My wife's cellphone (same exchange) received a call from this same number this past weekend. The caller is apparently going through the exchange list. Both phones are registered w/ the Do Not Call List.

if you call this number back and push 9 you can then enter your phone number followed by # and you will be taken off the call list.

I got the same call from the same number today. Did you find out who is was?
Nick 2013-02-26 23:01:14 Unknown
2 rings and no voicemail. Must be another spambot.
Tyler 2013-02-26 22:06:17 Unknown

I answered this number since it appeared to be local and the person said that they were calling in response to an online survey I submitted and had indicated that I would be interested in job opportunities. I asked him "what survey?" and that I didn't recall filling one out. He said that they could build a profile in their system to help me find a job that may be a good fit. I told him that I'm very happy in the job I have now. He hung up.
EmilySue 2013-02-26 20:51:33 Unknown
Same thing for me. It rings twice, sounds like it disconnected, and then someone picks up to answer. They said they were calling because I filled out a survey. I said I didn't fill out any survey so they changed the "story" to say that I was looking for a job online. Wrong again. My number is on a do-not-call list; I need to lookup how to report them.

Same as WilB. Don't have number anywhere public online... in some accounts but no one can see.
Just called me, hung up too.

I didn't answer when this name called this time, but I got a "you have been online asking about jobs" call recently as well. So this must have been that one again. Like Mary above, I am very much not in the market for a job! I have a good one, thanks. Very obnoxious.

Caller saying 'You have been on-line looking for jobs"--I'm 70 yrs. and handicapped Do NOT want a job. These callers are harassing and should be prosecuted!

seton 2013-02-26 16:53:08 Unknown

Anon 2013-02-26 16:49:29 Unknown
they called offered a service to find jobs in my area and a web site wakanetwork.com which isnt anything about jobs and kept talking in circles asking for my information. it seemed fishy to me
