Scam!  I googled every name, address and phone number...doesn't exsist, thank goodness I followed my gut.  My sister received something similar,   not mystery shopping, went to a check cashing company and they were going to sue her.  She went to the news and had them broadcast the scam and got out of it.  I do mystery shopping and NEVER have I been offered money up front.

P.s.  there was a typo in my letter that tipped me off!

wow my check was for almost the same amount. Mine was for $1,996.80 .but i did find a web site that had the option to type in my id # and my password that was in the letter with the check but when i did it ,said it was wrong. Then i noticed that it was for already registered checks only.the register option  was not  possible on the screen.what i dont get is what is in it for them if we owe the bank?? I mean whats the point i dont see how it makes them any money by them sending me a check then i cash it but its bad so im busted ...so what.

I received a check from Gadova Mart INC. I called the bank on which it was drawn and we both googled it and found out was a scam.  So, don't be drawn in by it.  IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!

What if you were to cash the check at one of those check cashing places and it actually cashes? Can you get in trouble if you dont know??????

I just recently one in the mail and was really excited. They changed their phone number to 302-669-9010. II checked the bbb.org site and this company is nonexistent. I even googled it and nothing but yet their website appeared as something else and not even gadovamart.com claiming you must activate the check first, puh-leeze. These scams are getting out of hand. Please be cateful and beware.

Do nothing. Just discard. My daughter also had one but since I know these scammers, I told her not to respond because they are out to make her use her bank account illegally.  After cashing the money, your bank would latter call you to say that the check was fake, and then you will be owing the bank that huge amount of money.

To response to anyone getting a check for mystery shopping: do not cash it!!!!!!!!! They want you to cash it and send money to them and you will never see it again and then you will owe your bank for that amount plus possible fees too. When you do mystery shopping, you are never given money first. At times you have to buy things with your own money and will get reinbursed.  I always check the Better Business Bureau and Google/yahoo the company. Look up the top ten mystery shopping companies to find some legit companies.They are a company that is paid to find people to see how the service of another company is. You then have to send in your evaluation, take pictures, or sometimes buy items is an example.  Then you get paid, I do it through PayPal and get a refund for my purchase. It doesn't pay much and it is a little time consuming but can be fun and put some xtra money in your pocket. Hope this helps.

my wife received one of these as well. it is a complete scam. they are expecting you to cash the check then wire money via money gram to a person who isnt even suppose to show id to pick up the moneygramm. be careful of these b*****ds. original site owners name is debbie bashi. debbiebashi@msn.com is "its" email. company located out of deleware but owner located in dallas tx
