HIGH PLEASE CALL ME NOW HOW MUCH DO I GET ON MY LOAN APPLICATION
| Pissed & Anxious 2012-05-04 01:32:02 Telemarketer |
I have applied for a few loans over the internet & over the phone in the last week or so. I got a call about 2 days ago from an Indian guy who had me go to samedayloans.com fill out the form on the site with all of my personal information & bank account information. I clicked get money now button @ the end when I ment to hit the end call button on my smartphone. He said a lender would call me in 15-20 minutes. When 2 hours went by I started trying to find their phone number online. They are all fake numbers that nobody picks up on or doesn't receive calls back. No money has been deposited into my account which is good I don't want it anyways. However I am wondering will they go in @ any random time & withdraw money, because they have my checking account information? I called my bank & putting a freeze on my account or closing it is not really an option, because if I do that it will mess with my social security deposits (my only source of income) as well as freezing it only makes it so I can't touch it. Companies can still deposit or withdraw any amount of money they like without me having any further access to it. Thank god nothing money wise has happened yet, but are they randomly going to steal money out of my account out of the blue with no warning??? The only thing the have done so far is share my information with everyone & their mother. I have been getting over 100 calls, 75 e-mails & 25 texts per day from other same day loan agency's. DOES ANYONE THINK THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO BE WORRIED ABOUT REALISTICALLY???

It is for payday loans company but since it is outsourced they can use the number for a variety of business cold calls. They are not solicitors they receive your number from websites that promise you a $500 gift card if you fill out so many forms and you agree to receive information. This is how they send the information you agreed to receive. If you keep ignoring them they will stop calling.

I mistakenly applied for a loan online through this company called western sky, was not approved but had someone give me a call under this same number, but no one said anything. Spam not after reading this post, should have known. Has anyone had money taken from their bank accounts etc?
| A 2011-11-20 00:26:14 Unknown |
They call me a lot now. Every time I get them on the phone I tell them to remove my number from the list, then they hang up. They all have foreign accents and they know my first name somehow. I'm sure that it is either a hack job and there was a cyber hack into some database where I entered my phone number (like an application to something) or some vendor that I signed up for sold my number (along with many others surely) to some foreign scammers.
I believe that this should be reported to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (they are partnered with the FBI):
http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
Someone mentioned www.epayday.com as the website they lead you to for entering your info. I think if enough people report this site, the FBI will contact them and figure it out, or if they are a part of a scam, they will be taken out.
Everyone who reads this, report this site along with the numbers you are being called from.

I traced a call to me from 512-234-5451 and found out the telephone number is one given out by a company called MagicJack at www.magicjack.com and called and placed a complaint with them for being complicit in the scam by allowing calls to continue from the number when they can just google it and see all the complaints of attempted scams. Try instant messaging MajicJack to see i the number is one of thiers and if it is insist on them taking your complaint. They will try and tell you to call your local police department and have them contact MajicJack. I theatened a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and my state attorney general and then they took my complaint and said they have a department who handles such matters. Obviously they know this is happening if they have a department that handles such calls.

I have been harrassed and threatened by these same people. I have taped messages left on my answering maching at home and on my cell phone. I have investigated them and found out that it is a major scam. My sister was contacted by these same people out of Texas, and when she let them know she was an officer of the court, they quickly apologized and quit calling her. The only problem is the gentleman (and I use the term loosely), did speak English, the people that have been contacting me seem to speak in an Indian dialect. Here is another number 302-722-4574.

Do not think you have traced them. They are un-tracable due to their spoofing of their numbers. how do you think they have gotten away for so long? They are outside of the United States pretending with their spoofing to be within it. Being outside of the US means our laws do not apply to them unless their government will do something and i doubt they will. Their government is just as corrupt as them.
To use a typical spoofing service, customers pay in advance for a personal identification number (PIN), allowing them to make a call for a certain amount of time. To begin, customers dial the number given to them by the company and enter their PIN. Then they enter the number they wish to call and the number they wish to appear as the Caller ID. Once the customer selects these options, the call is bridged or transferred and the person on the other end receives the customer's call. Assuming Caller ID is used on the receiving end, the receiver would normally assume the call was coming from a different phone number ? the spoofed number chosen by the caller ? thus tricking the receiver into thinking the call was coming from a different individual or organization than the caller's.

Do not think you have traced them for a moment. They spoof their numbers using multiple of ways. This most likely being one of them...

Be careful not to think you traced them and harass a victim. cause these b*****ds most likely are using victims numbers in their faked caller id.
