If you answer their call it alerts these pond scum low life bottom feeders that your number is active and they will sell your number to others like them and they will continue to robo call. Remember it's a computer calling you. Get an app and block the number or load your contact list with their number and label it, DO NOT ANSWER.

I get 3 calls from this number a day and each time I file a complaint with the "do not call" people. I have blocked this number but they manage to get around the block. I have double-checked to make sure I blocked the correct number and I have.

I started getting these calls too. I have Optimum for telephone service, so I went to their website and blocked the number from ever calling me again. I'm not sure if Verizon Fios works the same, but contact whatever phone carrier you have to see if you can block the calls. Good Luck!

I found out that this might be something called Metro News. It seems if you have had a newspaper subscription and cancelled it, you'll start getting calls from them. :(

Annoyed beyond belief and trying to figure out how to stop their calls.

This number calls three to five times a week. It is the Dallas Morning News trying to sell you a subscription.
I asked them to stop calling and to put me on the "no call list" it has been 8 days and no contact so far.


As I type this message my 6 year old says this to me " Dad, whats a newspaper?".
I responded, " A way for people to get the news son."  "It was before computers and sometime after stone and chisel." My 9 year old chimed in with "You guys also had smoke signals. Right Dad?"

This number is for dallas morning news. Just pick up the phone and say to take you off the call list or ask to talk to a manager. I'm preparing to talk to a lawyer for a law suit against them for harassment and for another issue i've had with them

I send a message to that number not a single message from them is rare and strange how at this time time at 12midnight they do the last call i guess this people have non to do but stalk

I have missed like 20 calls from this people i answer a call never said nothing n hang up i get late calls everyday is creepy so i ignore it but taking precations of total strangers

We have been getting around 8 calls a day from this number, When we answer, nothing.  Then they disconnect. This has been going on for  three months. We are on do not call list however it does not help, I will see if I can block the dang number. So annoying.  we did get the Balt Sun, about two years ago, but we do not like their political opinions they push at everyone. So I canceled the paper.  Any way all of you have helped me to know who they are and possibly we can report them to BBB or some where simular.  Thanks everyone and Good luck. MES

Metro News - I'm not sure who these people are???

Got call yesterday from company claiming to be Pittsburgh Post -Gazette Newspaper. They said they knew I had a subscription in the past and wanted me to renew it for the amazing price of 79 cents a week.
Wanted my name and address to get it started.
If they knew I had subscription before..shouldn't they already have all that info.?

The caller ID info name came up as :  V91818191800

I spoke to someone in customer care at the paper..they don't know anything about the subscription price..really couldn't care less, said sometimes they have third party callers..but didn't want the phone number or any info about it.

This is Metro News calling to likely try to get people to get or renew a newspaper subscription, as I had no calls from them until I ended my subscription with the Detroit Free Press. Apparently, newspaper companies around the country contract their business out to this Metro News company to try to get their customers to return. If you've EVER had a newspaper subscription, this is why they are calling you. I've reported them to DoNotCall.gov numerous times and just did a minute ago. Each time, they stop calling for a couple of weeks, then start calling again with a new number.

I had a missed call from this number earlier today.  I googled the number and found your messages.  I added it to my blocked list.  I will still have missed calls from this number but my phone will not ring when they call.

This is the first call I've gotten from this number, but I've been getting a lot of calls from some newspaper agency in Texas lately, so I'm betting they're related. When I answered I heard nothing for a few seconds, then, "we can be reached at..." And some other number prattled off more quickly than I could find a pen and write down.

They call our company 10 times a day. They don't say anything and just hang up.

This number calls ALL the time.....Please, does anyone kno how to make them stop?  I answered and just got air.....I'm SOOOOO ANNOYED!

They are trying to sell news subscriptions. At some time you put your name down for a free subscription or had a subscription. They are not getting your name off a call list, therefore being on a do not call list won't stop them

I just got a new phone number on Tuesday and since then have received 6 calls the first day from this number.  I called them back and left a message that I am on the No Call Registry and if they ever call me again, I will file a lawsuit for harassment.  I received another call this morning.  I am not a happy camper, needless to say.

I get 4-8 missed calls a day from this number. I called back from my work phone. The answering machines says "Metro News Services".

This number call atleast 5-10 times a day. When I answer the call, they just hang up.
I have called the number back and no one ever answers.

I have been getting three to seven calls from this number daily.  Often placed a few minutes apart and a message is never left.

Do not call my telephone number again unless you leave a message.  There is no need to call me 3 times a day or I will report you.

I received a call from this number today.  Left no message.
